Okay, so I was messing around with Wuthering Waves, trying to figure out the deal with these “sequences.” At first, I was like, “What even is a sequence?” I mean, I’m running around, fighting monsters, doing quests… and then there’s this whole other thing tucked away in the menus.
So, I finally decided to dive in. First, I went to the “Index” section in the game. It’s kind of like a pokedex. I Clicked around and found the section on “Sequences”. Found some related stuff with in there, clicked that. It’s kind of like a skill tree, but not really… more like a set of bonuses you unlock.

Now, the tricky part. You don’t just unlock these things by leveling up. Nope, you gotta collect stuff. I spent a good hour just wandering around, trying to find these specific items the game wanted. Some were from those little glowing plants, others were drops from certain enemies. It was a bit of a grind, honestly.
Getting the Right Stuff
- Item 1: Some weird glowy flower thing. I found a bunch near that first big city.
- Item 2: A drop from those annoying bird enemies. Took me a while to get enough of these.
- Item 3: I think this one was just lying on the ground in a specific cave. I stumbled on it by accident, really.
Once I gathered all the required materials, I went back to the “Sequence” * show you what you need, and what percentage of the items needed you currently have.I clicked the “unlock” button, and… boom! New bonus unlocked. It wasn’t a huge difference, but I did notice my character hitting a little harder and taking less * like, buffed me or something. I had to equip it!
Honestly, the whole system is a little convoluted. It’s not super clear what each sequence does until after you unlock it, and finding the materials can be a pain. But hey, it’s another layer to the game, and it definitely gives you something to work towards. I’m still figuring out the best combinations, but it’s kind of fun to experiment and see what works.
I will say, if you are really serious to get stronger, you might want to go online, find the Wuthering Waves fan wiki, and look at the “Sequence” page there. It has all the details and locations. But, I didn’t really want to get spoilered, so I kept at my searching.
