Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into Wuthering Waves lately, and one thing that’s been a bit of a head-scratcher is figuring out the whole relic merchant thing. I mean, I knew there had to be a way to get better gear, but I was running around in circles for a while. So, I figured I’d share my little journey of discovery in case anyone else is feeling lost.
First, I spent hours just exploring, you know, the usual stuff. Beating up monsters, doing quests, opening every chest I could find. I got some okay-ish relics this way, but nothing amazing. I was starting to think maybe I was missing something obvious.

Then, I started poking around in the main city. You know, talking to every single NPC, checking every corner. I felt like a total idiot for a while, running back and forth.
Finally, I stumbled upon this one vendor – I think it was near the crafting area, but don’t quote me on that, my sense of direction is terrible! – and boom, there it was. A whole section dedicated to relics! I felt so dumb for not finding it sooner, but hey, live and learn, right?
The way it works is pretty simple, as i can recall it. You use this special currency, which is called as “Oscillated Coral” and “Afterglow Coral” ,to buy the relics. This can be earn by exploring stuff and opening them. The stronger the monster, the more stuff I can get.
How to get to the Relic Merchant?
- The Jinzhou’s main city: Okay, so first things first, I go to the central main city. The name is Jinzhou if i am not mistaken. I’m pretty sure that’s where I found the relic merchant. It’s the biggest hub, so it makes sense, right?
- Look for Pioneer Association:. I then look for it. I’m pretty sure I stumble it and it is located nearby the crafting area.
- Talk to the NPC: I just simply go to him and interact with him, then i choose the option to buy. And that’s it!
I’m still figuring out the best way to farm the currency and which relics are the best, but at least now I have a reliable way to get some decent upgrades. It’s definitely a game-changer for taking on tougher enemies.
So yeah, that’s my little adventure with the Wuthering Waves relic merchant. Hopefully, this helps someone out there avoid the hours of aimless wandering that I went through!
