Well, let me tell ya ’bout this here “Wuthering Waves” game, seems like everyone’s talkin’ ’bout it. They callin’ it a countdown or somethin’, like waitin’ for the rooster to crow but with more fancy gadgets.
Now, I ain’t no spring chicken, so all this computer stuff is kinda new to me. But my grandkid, that little whippersnapper, he’s always glued to his phone, playin’ this “Wuthering Waves.” He says it’s gettin’ a big update, a real big one, like when we add a whole new room to the house.
They’re callin’ it version somethin’-somethin’, like 1.4. Sounds like a bunch of numbers to me, but the boy says it’s comin’ out on November 14th, 2024. That’s not too far off now, is it? He says they’re callin’ this update “When the Night Knocks.” Sounds spooky, like somethin’ you’d hear in them old radio shows.
And get this, they’re already talkin’ ’bout another big update, version 2.0 they call it. And somethin’ called PS5? Sounds like a fancy new tractor, but the boy says it’s a game machine. They sayin’ that one’s comin’ out on January 2nd, next year. That’s a lot of waitin’, like plantin’ seeds and waitin’ for the harvest.
- Update 1.4: November 14, 2024, they call it “When the Night Knocks”
- Update 2.0 and PS5: January 2nd, folks are sayin’ there’ll be new animals and people in the game. Like addin’ more cows to the pasture, I guess.
The boy’s been showin’ me pictures, all colorful and flashy. Says there are new monsters and places to go. Reminds me of them old fairy tales, but with more fightin’ and less singin’. He says you gotta “preload” the update, whatever that means. Sounds like gettin’ the tractor ready before plowin’ the field.
Now, he showed me how to do it on his phone and computer, seems complicated, but I guess it ain’t so bad once you get the hang of it. On that phone thingy, the Android one, you just start the game and it’ll tell you what to do. Like followin’ the signs on the road.
If you got one of them iPhones, the boy says you gotta go to somethin’ called the “App Store.” Sounds like a fancy general store, but for phone games. And on the computer, well, you gotta close the game and start it up again. Like turnin’ the engine off and on, I reckon.
They also talkin’ ’bout the “preload size,” how much space it takes up on your phone or computer. Sounds like fillin’ up the barn with hay, gotta make sure you got enough room. The boy says it’s a lot, so you might need to clean out some old pictures or somethin’. Like cleanin’ out the attic, get rid of all that junk you don’t need.
So, let’s recap, shall we? “Wuthering Waves” is gettin’ a big update, then another one right after. First one’s in November, second one’s in January. You gotta preload it, like gettin’ your tools ready. And make sure you got enough space, like makin’ room in the pantry.
This “Wuthering Waves” thing, it’s got folks all excited, like a barn raisin’ back in the day. People talkin’ ’bout it, sharin’ tips and tricks. Reminds me of the old days, when we’d gather ’round the fire and tell stories. Now, they gather ’round their screens and play games. Times sure do change, don’t they?
But one thing’s for sure, folks like to be entertained, whether it’s listenin’ to a good yarn or playin’ a fancy game on their phones. And this “Wuthering Waves,” it seems to be doin’ a good job of keepin’ folks busy. So, mark your calendars, folks, November 14th and January 2nd, them’s the days to watch out for. And don’t forget to preload, you hear?
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. All this talk about games and updates is makin’ me hungry. And maybe I’ll even ask the boy to show me how to play this “Wuthering Waves” thing. You’re never too old to learn somethin’ new, I always say. Though, I reckon I’ll still prefer a good book and a cup of tea any day.
And they keep sayin’ “Kuro Games” this and “Kuro Games” that, seems like they’re the ones makin’ all this happen. Good for them, I say. Keepin’ folks entertained and busy. That’s about all I know about this here “wuthering waves release countdown.” Hope it helped ya some.
