Well, let me tell you about this here game, “Wuthering Waves.” Folks are talkin’ ’bout it, and I figured I’d give it a whirl. They say there’s puzzles in it, somethin’ called “Perspective Benders” or somethin’ fancy like that. Sounded like a headache, but I ain’t one to back down from a challenge, even if my old bones creak a bit.
So, first off, you gotta unlock this here puzzle place. Seems like you need to do a chore first, somethin’ about restartin’ a radar. I ain’t too keen on all this technical mumbo jumbo, but the game showed me where to go, so I just followed along like a lost puppy. The marker popped up on the map when I was wanderin’ near some “Rearguard Base.” Sounds important, I guess.
Now, this first puzzle, they call it the “Guide Crystal” one. It ain’t too hard, even for an old woman like me. You see these white squares on the map? That’s where you gotta go. Just head over there and fiddle around with the thingamajigs, and you’ll get it done. It’s kinda like fixin’ a broken fence, gotta put the pieces back in the right place.
- Find the radar thing: You gotta do the “Restart the Radar” quest to get started.
- Look for white squares: These are the puzzle spots on the map.
- First puzzle is easy: They say the one north is the easiest. I reckon that’s true.
Then there’s this other puzzle, the real “Perspective Bender” one. This one’s a bit trickier, made me scratch my head a few times, I tell ya. You got this… this mechanism thingy, looks like a fancy door knocker. You gotta turn it, clockwise they say, twice. And then, you gotta jump and stomp on some black tiles to make ’em white. It’s like stompin’ grapes to make wine, but without the juice.
It’s all about lookin’ at things from a different angle, I guess. That’s what they mean by “perspective,” right? Like, when your grandson says he’s cleanin’ his room but all he’s doin’ is shovin’ the mess under the bed. Different perspective, same mess. These puzzle makers, they think they’re real clever, but an old woman like me can still figure it out if I put my mind to it.
I spent a good while on it, though. Had to get up and stretch my legs a few times. This ain’t for young folks only, mind you. Us old-timers, we can still use our brains, even if we’re a bit slower. It’s like churnin’ butter, you gotta keep at it ’til it’s done.
And let me tell you, plunging attacks ain’t easy when you got creaky knees! But I managed. I figured out that you gotta make the pattern above the door thingy look right. It’s like arranging quilt squares, you know? Gotta get the colors and patterns to match. Once you do that, bam! Puzzle solved.
So, if I can do it, anyone can. Don’t let those fancy words and complicated contraptions scare you off. Just take your time, look at things from all sides, and you’ll figure it out. It ain’t rocket science, even if the young folks make it seem that way. It’s just another puzzle to solve, like figuring out why the chickens keep escaping the coop.
And that’s about it, I reckon. There might be more puzzles in that there game, but I ain’t got all day. Got chores to do, you know. But I’m glad I tried it. Keeps the old brain sharp, even if my body’s a bit rusty. Maybe I’ll go back and try some more later, if I got the time and the energy. But for now, I’m gonna go make myself a cup of tea. This puzzle-solvin’ business is thirsty work!
