Well, let me tell ya ’bout this here Wuthering Waves countdown, or whatever they call it. It’s like waitin’ for the rooster to crow, but these city folks got their own fancy clocks and dates.
First off, they say this “Wuthering Waves 1.4” thingy is comin’ out on November 14, 2024. That’s way off, near wintertime. They say it’ll be at 11 in the mornin’, but their mornin’ ain’t the same as ours, see? They got this “UTC plus 8” nonsense. Don’t make a lick of sense to me, but that’s what they sayin’. So, mark your calendars, if ya got one of them fancy things.
Now, before that 1.4, there’s this 1.3 thingamajig. They gonna start fiddlin’ with their servers on September 29, 2024, at 4 in the mornin’, their time, mind you. And they’ll be at it for seven whole hours, till 11. So, if you’re plannin’ on playin’ that day, you best find somethin’ else to do. Maybe churn some butter or somethin’.

Then there’s this Jinhsi thing, part of 1.1, they say. That one came out June 28, 2024, at 1 in the afternoon, their time again. Seems like they always doin’ stuff in the middle of the night or when folks are busy. They also messed around with their servers that same day, started at 6 in the mornin’ and went on for a while.
I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout it comin’ out on the 22nd for those Pacific Time people. And then the 23rd for them Europe folks. Lands sakes, can’t they just pick one day and be done with it? All this different times and dates, it’s enough to make your head spin faster than a weathervane in a tornado.
And then there’s the official launch, they say it was May 22nd at 7 in the evenin’, Pacific Time. Called us all “Rovers,” like we’re some kind of wanderin’ dogs or somethin’. Well, I guess we are wanderin’, waitin’ for this game to come out.
So, there you have it. A whole mess of dates and times for this Wuthering Waves thing. It’s like tryin’ to catch a greased pig, all slippin’ and slidin’ around. But if you’re patient, like waitin’ for the crops to grow, you’ll eventually get to play it. Just don’t ask me to explain all that UTC plus 8 mumbo jumbo again.
One thing’s for sure, these city folks and their fancy games, they sure do like to keep us on our toes. Makes me miss the days when the only countdown we had was till suppertime. But I reckon this Wuthering Waves must be somethin’ special if they’re makin’ such a fuss about it. We’ll just have to wait and see, like we always do.
