Okay, so I’ve been hyped for Wuthering Waves, and with version 1.1 coming up, I wanted to dive deep into the banners and figure out the best strategy. Here’s how my little adventure went:
First Look and Getting Hyped
First things first, I opened the game and checked out the current banners. Gotta see what characters are available and if there are any special deals. Usually, there’s a beginner banner, and then the standard ones, plus a featured character banner. The featured one is what I really keep an eye on, ’cause that’s where the new hotness is.

Digging into the Details
I spent some time reading up on the characters offered in the 1.1 banners. I needed to know their skills, their elements, and how well they’d fit with my current team. I like to have a balanced team, you know? A good mix of damage dealers, support, and maybe someone who can heal. Can’t just go in guns blazing with all attackers, it’s not effective!
Checking My Resources
After figuring out which characters I really wanted, I had to take stock of my in-game currency. How many of those summoning items, astrites or whatever they’re called, did I have saved up? This is crucial. I needed to decide if I had enough for a decent chance at getting the featured character, or if I needed to grind some more.
The Summoning Ritual (and the Pain)
Alright, time for the pulls! I always do single pulls first – just a personal superstition. A few singles, and… nothing much. Mostly just basic weapons and stuff. Okay, time to switch to the ten-pulls. Gotta take advantage of that guaranteed 4-star or higher thing.
First ten-pull… a couple of 4-star weapons, but still no featured character. My heart sank a little. Second ten-pull… BOOM! There it is! The character I wanted, shining bright. Now I had to decide whether keep pulling or saving.
Weighing the Options
So, I got the character I wanted, but the banner still had time left. Should I keep pulling for potential duplicates (to make the character stronger), or should I save my currency for the next banner? I think the next one is going to be even better!
I decided to look at what else the banner offered. Were there any other 4-star characters I needed? Any good weapons that would really boost my team? Nope. Nothing that really grabbed me.

Making the Final Decision
In the end, I decided to hold off on further pulls. I got the main prize, and I didn’t want to waste my precious currency on stuff I didn’t really need. Better to save up for the next big banner and hopefully have even better luck then.
Plus, now I get to spend time leveling up the new character and figuring out the best way to use them in my team. That’s half the fun, right?
So that was my 1.1 banner experience! A bit of planning, some lucky pulls, and a tough decision at the end. Now, to start saving up again…
