So I heard about this “Laguna Long” thing on the Joe Rogan podcast. I had no idea what it was, but it sounded kinda cool, so I decided to give it a shot. This is what I did.
First, I went online and watched the Joe Rogan episode to figure out what the heck “Laguna Long” actually is. It turns out it’s some kind of intense workout. I watched the whole segment a couple of times, just to make sure I got all the details right. I wrote down each exercise and how many reps and sets they were talking about. It looked pretty tough, but I was feeling adventurous.
Next, I tried to get myself ready. I’ve been trying to hit the gym regularly, so I wasn’t starting from zero. But this “Laguna Long” thing seemed like a whole different beast. I made sure I had some decent workout clothes and my trusty water bottle. Also, I ate a good meal a couple of hours before because I figured I’d need the energy.
Then came the actual workout. I went to my local gym and found a spot where I could do all the exercises. I started with the first one on my list and just went for it. Man, it was brutal! I followed the routine as closely as I could, pushing myself on each exercise.
- First exercise: I did some pull-ups. It was tough, and I couldn’t do as many as Joe Rogan’s guest, but I pushed myself to do as many as I could.
- Then, I moved on to push-ups. By this point, my arms were already feeling it. But I kept going, doing the reps I had written down.
- Next up were squats. My legs started to burn, but I remembered what they said on the podcast about pushing through. So I did.
- After that, it was time for some core work. I did a bunch of sit-ups and leg raises. My abs were on fire!
I kept going through the list, doing each exercise to the best of my ability. I took short breaks in between sets, just like they mentioned on the podcast. It was a real grind, I’m not gonna lie.
Finally, after what felt like forever, I finished the whole “Laguna Long” routine. I was completely wiped out, drenched in sweat, and my muscles were screaming. But you know what? I felt amazing! It was such a sense of accomplishment to have finished something so challenging.
So, that’s my “Laguna Long” story. It was definitely one of the hardest workouts I’ve ever done, but it was also really rewarding. If you’re looking for a serious challenge, maybe give it a try. Just be prepared to work your butt off!
Would I do it again? Probably not anytime soon. But hey, at least I can say I did it!
