I woke up early this morning and wanted to see what this “Raw” thing was all about. I’d heard people talking about raw foods, raw milk, and something called “Monday Night Raw.” Sounded interesting, so I decided to dig in.
First, I tried to figure out what this “Monday Night Raw” thing was. Turns out, it’s some kind of show that starts at 8 p.m. on Mondays. Apparently, some guy named Seth Rollins thinks the show is too long, like they’re just stretching it out to fill three hours. Sounds boring. They used to split it into two parts, “Raw Is War” and “War Zone.” I guess they changed the name for better TV ratings. The Netflix thing starts at 8 p.m. ET, or 7 p.m. CT, whatever that means. I don’t have Netflix, so I didn’t watch it.
Raw Food
Next, I looked into this whole “raw food” diet. People say it’s good for you because you get lots of vitamins and stuff. They say you’ll have more energy. I’m not sure about that. I like my food cooked, thank you very much. Eating raw food just sounds like a good way to get sick.
- Raw Milk
Then there’s this “raw milk” thing. It’s basically milk that hasn’t been pasteurized. It comes straight from the cow or goat. Sounds gross to me. I’d rather stick with the milk I get from the store. At least I know it’s been processed and is safe to drink.
So, after all this research, I think I’ll pass on the whole “raw” thing. I’m not into long TV shows, raw food, or raw milk. I’m happy with my regular life, cooked food, and store-bought milk. Maybe I’m just old-fashioned, but that’s just how I like it.
