So, decided it was time to deal with the floor situation in my Trailblazer. The factory mats were pretty much done for, especially after this past winter. Started looking around, you know, just browsing online, and stumbled upon these things called Harmony Trailblazer mats. Looked decent enough, claimed a good fit, so I figured, why not? Placed the order.
The box arrived a few days later. Pretty standard packaging, nothing fancy. Pulled them out. First impression? They felt pretty substantial. Not like those flimsy universal things you get sometimes. These had some weight to them, felt like a tough rubbery material, supposed to be all-weather. They had these grooves and high edges, looked like they’d actually hold water and mud, which is exactly what I needed.

Getting Started
Alright, first step was getting the old junk out. Pulled out the driver’s side mat – man, the amount of dirt and old coffee stains under there was something else. Did the same for the passenger side and the back. Took a few minutes to vacuum the whole floor area properly. No point putting new mats on top of old grime, right?
Fitting Them In
Started with the driver’s side. The Harmony mat had the cutouts for the floor hooks, which was good. Lined it up, pushed it down onto the hooks. It clicked in place. Fit seemed pretty spot on, covered the whole footwell area, even went up the sides a bit. Felt secure, didn’t slide around when I pushed it with my foot.
Moved over to the passenger side. Same deal. Lined it up, dropped it in. Fit snugly, no weird gaps. Looked pretty good.
The back was next. My Trailblazer has that center hump. The Harmony set came with one long piece for the back, designed to cover the floor and the hump. This took a little more wiggling to get it settled just right, tucking it under the front seats a bit. But once it was in, it laid flat and covered everything edge-to-edge. Pretty impressed with the coverage back there.
The Result
- Fit: Honestly, better than I expected. Very little wiggle room, they really followed the shape of the floor.
- Look: Definitely an upgrade. Makes the inside look cleaner, more put-together.
- Feel: Feels durable underfoot. Not slippery, but easy enough to wipe down, I think.
So yeah, that was my little project getting the Harmony mats in. Took maybe 15-20 minutes total, including the vacuuming. They look good, feel tough. Now just gotta see how they hold up over time with dirt, snow, and whatever else gets tracked in. But so far, so good. Seems like a decent choice for keeping the Trailblazer’s floor protected.
