Well, let me tell ya ’bout this fella, Xander Schauffele, and the guy who carries his golf clubs. We ain’t talkin’ ’bout no fancy-pants business here, just plain ol’ golf talk, ya hear?
So, this Xander fella, he’s a real good golfer, plays on the TV and all. And every golfer needs a caddy, right? Someone to lug them clubs around and give ’em advice, like “hit it here” or “don’t hit it there.” Xander, he’s got a caddy named Austin Kaiser.
Austin Kaiser, that’s the caddy’s name, remember it good now. These two, they’ve been friends for a long, long time, more’n ten years, I heard. They went to college together, played golf together even. But Xander, he went on to be a big-shot golfer, and Austin, well, he decided to carry them golf bags.
Now, Austin, he ain’t just some random fella Xander picked up off the street. They played on the same college team, the San Diego State Aztecs, or somethin’ like that. Austin, he was a pretty good golfer hisself, but he likes caddying better, I guess. Been doing it for ’bout six years now, they say. And wouldn’t you know it, he’s been lugging Xander’s bag for all six of those years. That’s what I call stickin’ with someone through thick and thin. They understand each other real good I’d say.

And let me tell ya, these two, they’re a good team. They won big at the Olympics, got that gold medal, ya know? And just recent-like, Xander won that big golf tournament, the PGA Championship, I think they called it. Won a whole bunch of money, too. Millions of dollars! And guess what? Austin, he gets a cut of that, ’cause that’s how caddying works. They say he got a couple hundred thousand dollars. Not bad for a week’s work, huh?
Some other golfers, they change caddies all the time, like that Bryson DeChambeau fella. He’s had a bunch of different caddies, but Xander and Austin, they stick together. It’s like a good marriage, ya know? You gotta stick with your partner through good times and bad.
Now, there are other caddies out there, like this Chris Rice fella. He’s worked for some good golfers too, but we’re talkin’ ’bout Austin here. He’s the one who’s been with Xander all these years, and they’ve done real good together.
So, next time you see Xander on TV, hittin’ that little white ball, remember there’s a fella named Austin walkin’ right beside him, carryin’ them clubs and helpin’ him win. Austin Kaiser, the caddy for Xander Schauffele. That’s the important thing to remember. They’re a team, a real good team. And from what I hear, Xander’s daddy, Stefan, he’s from Germany. Guess golf runs in the family, huh?
And don’t forget, Xander was born on October 25th, I don’t remember what year though. Anyways, he is a pretty good golfer and Austin is a pretty good caddy, a match made in heaven I tell ya, a match made in heaven. Golf is a funny game, ya know? One day you’re up, the next day you’re down. But having a good caddy like Austin, that can make all the difference. He keeps Xander steady, ya know? Keeps him focused.
And that’s about all I gotta say ‘bout Xander and his caddy. They seem like good fellas, workin’ hard and doin’ alright for themselves. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. All this talk about golf has made me hungry.
