Alright, so y’all wanna know if Chris Evert is in a relationship these days, huh? Let me tell ya, she ain’t tied down to nobody right now. Yep, that famous tennis star – the one who won them 18 major titles, if ya remember – she’s single as can be. Take her last marriage, for instance. Back in 2008, Chris tied the knot with Greg Norman – you know, the famous golfer fella. They went all out, had a big ol’ fancy wedding down in the Bahamas. But bless their hearts, things went south pretty quick. Just a bit over a year later, they split up. Wasn’t meant to be, I suppose. Some folks say Greg was the one who wanted the divorce.
And oh boy, her love story with Jimmy Connors was another big one. Way back in the ’70s, them two were the “it” couple in sports, bein’ young and successful. They got together in 1974, and even got engaged! But by 1975, they had called it quits. Seems like they were good as friends, but maybe not so much as partners. Nowadays, they’re still real close. They even live near each other in Florida, just a hop and a skip away – around 20 minutes or so. Ain’t that somethin’?
Now, some folks wonder if maybe Chris will start dating again. I reckon it ain’t likely, though. She’s said it plain as day: “I am not dating anybody, and I am not looking.” That was a few years back, mind ya, but she seems to be stickin’ to her word. Chris loves workin’ with the kids and teachin’ ’em all the things she’s learned over the years.
