Okay, so I’ve been playing a TON of Disney Dreamlight Valley lately. It’s, like, my new obsession. And of course, with any good cozy game, there’s cooking! I saw this recipe for “Whimsical Pie” and thought, “Ooh, that sounds fancy, I gotta try that!” So, here’s how my little baking adventure went down.
Finding the Recipe (Or Not!)
First things first, I needed the actual recipe. I went rummaging through my in-game cookbook, flipping through pages and pages… nothing. Hmm, okay, maybe I haven’t unlocked it yet? I spent a good chunk of time checking Remy’s restaurant, thinking maybe he’d sell it. Nope. I even checked Scrooge McDuck’s shop, because, you know, he sells EVERYTHING. Still no luck.

So, I started to think that Maybe Whimsical Pie Recipe is something you need to find, then the game tell you the recipe in the collection, so I need to guess which recipe is possible. It’s call “Whimsical”, I think the recipe need something that is “Whimsical”.
The Guessing Game Begins!
So, I decided to get creative. “Whimsical,” right? It had to be something colorful, maybe a little bit strange. I started grabbing ingredients that seemed to fit the vibe:
- Fruit: Because pies usually have fruit. Dreamlight Fruit is a unique material so I put it in!
- Wheat: Needed that basic pie crust element, so wheat seemed like a safe bet. Got that from Goofy’s stall, easy peasy.
- Butter: Everything’s better with butter, right? Plus, it adds richness to the crust. Remy sells this, thankfully.
- Slush Ice: Add some sweet flavor into this pie.
Into the Pot!
With my ingredients gathered, I headed to the nearest cooking pot. I tossed everything in, one by one, holding my breath a little (okay, maybe I’m a bit dramatic). I clicked that “Cook” button and waited…
And…boom, Whimsical Pie successed! I actually cheered a little. I’ve had some cooking fails in this game (burnt fish, anyone?), so it was super satisfying to get this one right.
My first Whimsical Pie made!
The Taste Test (In My Imagination)
Okay, so I can’t actually taste the pie, but I like to imagine what it’s like. I picture it being sweet and tart, with a buttery, flaky crust. Maybe the Dreamlight Fruit adds a little bit of sparkle? Who knows! It definitely looks pretty, though.

So, that was my Whimsical Pie saga! It was a fun little experiment, and it definitely made my Dreamlight Valley day a bit more interesting. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to make another one… and maybe try to catch a few fish without burning them this time. Wish me luck!
