So, I started playing this vampire game, “V Rising,” right? And you need all sorts of stuff to get stronger and build your creepy castle. One of these things is this Blood Crystal. Sounds important, and it kinda is if you want to craft some decent gear later on.
Finding the Darn Things
First off, where do you even find these Blood Crystals? I spent hours running around like a headless chicken until I figured it out. You gotta go to the Dunley Farmlands. It’s a bit of a trek, but that’s where the good stuff is.
Once you’re in the Farmlands, keep your eyes peeled for these big red crystal formations. They’re pretty hard to miss, all glowy and red. That’s your target.
Smashing Time
Now comes the fun part—smashing them to bits! I just used my regular weapon at first, I didn’t know any better. And I swung and swung, It worked, but let me tell you, it took ages. Then I thought to myself, there must be a better way. After that, I started experimenting with explosives, and they did the trick. But when I was getting chased by some nasty mobs, I noticed that they destroyed the crystals while they were attacking me. That is when it hit me, I could use them to mine the crystals for me.
- Find the Crystals: Head up to Dunley Farmlands and look for the big, red, glowing rocks.
- Lure the Mobs: Get some of those big creatures to follow you.
- Smash ’em Up: Let them chase you around the crystals and they will start to destroy them. You can also use your weapon to smash the crystals.
- Collect the Goods: Once the crystals are broken, grab all the Blood Crystals that drop.
What’s the Point?
Alright, so you got a bunch of these Blood Crystals. Now what? Well, turns out they’re pretty useful for crafting. I used them to make some better gear for myself, and I reckon you can use them for other stuff too. I haven’t gotten that far yet, still figuring things out. But trust me, you want these crystals.
