Alright folks, let’s talk about this “Chito Vera walkout song” project. It started, like most things, with a simple idea – I wanted to create a killer walkout song for my favorite UFC fighter, Chito Vera. I’m a huge MMA fan, and Chito’s fighting style is just electrifying. So I thought, why not make him a banger of a walkout track?
First things first, I needed a beat. I’m not a musician myself, so I spent a good few days scouring online music libraries. I was looking for something hard-hitting, something that really captured the intensity of Chito’s fights. It took a while, going through a ton of loops and samples, but finally, I found something that clicked. It had this raw, aggressive energy that felt perfect.

Then came the lyrics. I brainstormed for ages. I wanted lyrics that were both hype and reflective of Chito’s personality – his tenacity, his grit, the whole package. I started with some fairly basic stuff – you know, the usual “champion,” “unstoppable,” that type of thing. But I wanted something more, something unique to Chito. So, I dove into some research on him, looked at interviews, watched fight breakdowns, just really tried to absorb everything I could.
After a few weeks of messing around, rewriting, and deleting entire verses, I finally landed on something that felt right. It’s pretty much a straight-up hype track; a mix of Spanish and English to reflect Chito’s Ecuadorian heritage. Think aggressive energy, a pounding beat, and some really punchy lyrics celebrating his fighting spirit.
Next up was the recording. I’m no singer, so I needed to find someone with the right voice. I hit up some local artists, sent them the beat and lyrics, and got some demo tracks back. The process was pretty challenging; some voices didn’t quite fit the feel I was going for. Then I found someone amazing, a local rapper with a really powerful voice who understood the vision. We worked back and forth, tweaking the delivery, adjusting the flow, until we had something that really hit the mark.
Finally, it was time for mixing and mastering. This part was tricky. Getting the levels right, making sure everything sounded clear and powerful took several revisions and a lot of back and forth with the mixing engineer. But eventually, after a fair bit of tinkering, we got the finished product. It was a long, involved process, a real journey from idea to finished product, but boy, was it worth it! I’m really proud of how it turned out. It’s a walkout song fit for a champion. The final product is explosive and powerful; it’s the kind of song that would get any crowd pumped up. I can only hope Chito digs it as much as I do.
