Alright, so I decided to actually sit down and figure out which Mobile Legends heroes feel strong right now, at least to me. It wasn’t some grand plan, honestly. I just got tired of getting wrecked in ranked matches and arguing with my buddies about who’s busted and who’s trash.
Getting Started – Just Playing A Lot
First off, this whole thing started purely from my own games. I didn’t look up stats or pro builds initially. I just played. A lot. Like, probably too much. I tried sticking to my main roles, mostly fighter and mage, but you know how solo queue is, sometimes you gotta fill. So I got a feel for tanks, supports, marksmen, the whole lot, even if I wasn’t great at them.

I started noticing patterns. Certain heroes just seemed to dominate games, didn’t matter if they were on my team or the enemy’s. Others felt like dead weight most of the time. There were heroes I personally dreaded facing, and others I breathed a sigh of relief seeing on the enemy loading screen.
Trying to Organize the Chaos
So, I grabbed a notebook. Yeah, old school. Just started jotting down names. It was a mess at first. Heroes all over the place. I tried grouping them by role, but that didn’t really capture who felt impactful. A good tank can feel more “S-tier” than a mediocre assassin, you know?
Then I thought about tiers. Like, the classic S, A, B, C kind of thing. Seemed simple enough. I made some columns:
- OMG Ban/Pick Tier: These were the heroes that just felt oppressive. The ones you either ban or hope your first pick grabs.
- Really Solid Tier: Good heroes, reliable, strong picks in most situations. Happy to have them on my team.
- Okay/Situational Tier: These guys can work, but maybe need the right team comp or are counter picks. Not always great, not always bad.
- Uh Oh Tier: Heroes I generally sighed seeing picked. Maybe they need too much skill I don’t have, or they just feel weak in the current way people play games I’m in.
That felt a bit better than just a random list.
The Actual Ranking – My Gut Feeling
Then came the hard part: actually putting heroes into these buckets. This was all gut feeling and memory. I thought back to recent games. Who carried? Who fed? Who just seemed impossible to deal with?
Example: I remember this one mage, Lunox maybe? Kept running into players who just danced around everything and melted everyone. Straight into the top tier she went, based purely on my frustration playing against her.

Another one: There’s this fighter, Argus. I personally like his concept, but man, almost every time I see him, he just ults and dies right after. Felt bad, but had to put him lower down based on what I was seeing in my games.
I went through hero by hero like this. Some were easy calls, others I kept moving back and forth. Does this hero rely too much on snowballing? Is this support actually making plays or just following the marksman around?
Dealing With Roles and Nuances
It got complicated because roles matter. A top-tier tank serves a different purpose than a top-tier marksman. I tried to rank based on overall impact within their expected role. Like, is this tank doing a top-tier job of tanking and setting up plays compared to other tanks? Is this mage pumping out damage like the best mages?
And some heroes are weird. Good in early game, fall off late. Or useless until they get their core items. I tried to average it out, thinking about a typical game’s flow.
Tweaking and Finalizing (For Now)
After I had a first draft, I looked it over. Some placements felt off. Maybe I was too harsh on a hero I just lost to, or too kind to one I had a lucky win with. I shifted a few names around. Moved a couple up, a couple down. Tried to make sure the tiers had a decent mix of roles, though that wasn’t the main goal.
It’s not perfect. It’s totally based on my experience, probably around the rank I usually play at (Epic/Legend, let’s be real). Someone in Mythic would probably laugh at my list. But it reflects what I see and feel playing the game right now.

So now I have this list. It was kind of a fun exercise, helps me think about draft picks a bit more. But man, it changes so fast with patches and new heroes. It’s just a snapshot of my own game experience, really. Nothing more, nothing less.
