So today, I was thinking about the intro music for the wrestler Randy Orton, you know, the one that goes “I hear voices in my head.” It’s a pretty cool song, but I didn’t actually know much about it, so I decided to dig a little deeper.
First off, I looked up what the song is actually called. Turns out it’s named “Voices”. Yeah, pretty straightforward, I guess. Then I had to find out who sings it. After some searching, I discovered that it’s by a band called Rev Theory. Never heard of them before, but hey, now I know!
Next, I wanted to see the lyrics. I mean, I knew the “voices” part, but what else is there? I found the full lyrics online, and the beginning goes something like: “I hear voices in my head. They council me. They understand. They talk to me.” Okay, a bit creepy, but it fits Randy Orton’s character, right?
Then I started wondering about the history of the song. I found out that Randy’s used a couple of different theme songs before this one. One was called “Burn in My Light” by a band called Mercy Drive. And apparently, he also used a song called “Line in the Sand” when he was part of that Evolution group with Ric Flair.
I also stumbled upon some recent news. It seems Randy Orton himself talked about his theme song in an interview. Apparently, there were rumors that WWE was working on a new one for him, but he addressed that. So, it sounds like “Voices” is here to stay, at least for now.

Finally, I saw that he talked about the song in a recent interview.
Oh, and one more thing I found kind of interesting – Randy Orton apparently got a new nickname, “The Viper,” after a match where he gave his opponent, Cena, an RKO. Seems fitting, considering the whole “voices” thing. Anyway, that’s all I found out about Randy Orton’s intro song. It was a fun little research session!
