Alright, folks, gather ’round, let me tell you about this little adventure I had with the “Genshin Impact” web event called “Fragrant Fantasy.” So, picture this: I logged into the game, bright and early, ready to tackle my dailies. That’s when I saw this new event pop up. “Fragrant Fantasy,” it said. Sounded interesting, so I clicked on it.
Turns out, it was all about perfumes. Yeah, you heard that right, perfumes in a game about exploring and fighting monsters. First thing I did was start doing the usual stuff, you know, consuming Original Resin, claiming those Commission Rewards, and generally just going about my day in the game. This got me some card packs, which I then opened at the workbench to get Plant and Omni Cards.
Making the Perfumes
- Collecting Cards: So, every day I logged in, did my usual stuff like consuming Original Resin and finishing commissions to get these card packs.
- Opening Packs: I opened these packs at the workbench to get all sorts of Plant and Omni Cards.
- Blending Perfumes: With these cards, I could start blending perfumes. The goal here was to make a “Premium Perfume.”
Now, here’s where it got a bit tricky. To make a Premium Perfume, I needed three Advanced Plant Cards. And to get those, I had to merge two of the same basic Plant Cards together. It was like a little puzzle. I spent a good chunk of time just merging cards, trying to get those Advanced ones. Sometimes I got Omni Cards from the packs, and those were like wildcards, which was pretty cool.
Aiming for the Premium Perfume
I figured out pretty quickly that the only way to make a Premium Perfume was by using three Advanced Plant Cards. So, I started stacking two of the same ingredients in the same slot to make those Advanced cards. I didn’t bother making all the perfumes, just focused on getting that Premium one and 12 regular perfumes in total to snag all the rewards.
It wasn’t too hard, just a bit of a grind. But hey, free Primogems, Character Ascension Materials, and other goodies? I’m not complaining! Plus, it was kind of fun to play around with the cards and see what I could come up with. I also learned that we can join in the Elegant Perfume Event in Genshin Impact from Aug 1-7, 2024. There is a scent questions, and we can receive perfume recommendations in that event. I think it is interesting!
In the end, I managed to make the Premium Perfume and get all the rewards. It was a nice little distraction from the usual grind, and who doesn’t love free stuff?
