Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again with another blog post. Today, I wanna talk about something that’s been on my mind lately, and that’s pre-farming for the upcoming character, Firefly, in Honkai Star Rail. She’s set to drop in version 2.3, which I heard is hitting on June 19th. So, naturally, I’ve been diving deep into how to get a head start.
Getting Started
First off, I started gathering information. I heard from some folks online that Firefly, or Sam as some call her, is a 5-star Fire character from the Path of Destruction. Now, I didn’t want to spoil myself on her kit and all that, but I knew I wanted to be ready to use her immediately once I could pull her. So, the big question was, what materials do I need to start hoarding?
Digging for Information
I scoured through some forums and saw people talking about her materials being easily pre-farmable in Penacony. That sounded promising! There was also a buzz about her signature relic set, which apparently gives a DEF shred bonus. That got me thinking, I gotta get my hands on that.
My Pre-farming Journey
Here’s what I did. I started by hitting up those Calyxes for credits and EXP books. Funny thing is, I haven’t touched one of those in almost 10 months, so my stash was pretty low. I spent a good chunk of time just grinding those out. It’s tedious, but hey, everyone needs credits and EXP, right?
- Credits and EXP Books: I made sure to max out my weekly limits. It took some time, but I wanted a good stockpile. I realized I was way behind on this since I had ignored it for almost a year.
- Boss Materials: I also found out that we could already start farming her boss materials. There were some second-week drops, so I took advantage and started storing fuel. I’m planning for around 102 runs for relics, so I needed all the fuel I could get.
Keeping Track
I kept a detailed spreadsheet of everything I farmed. Every credit, every EXP book, every boss material – I tracked it all. I even started setting aside specific days for each material to keep myself organized. It felt like a part-time job, but I knew it would pay off.
Final Preparations
As of now, I’m feeling pretty good about where I’m at. I’ve got a decent stockpile of materials, and I’m just waiting for the official release. I’m also keeping an eye on any new information that might pop up, just in case I need to adjust my strategy.
Wrap Up
So, that’s my pre-farming journey for Firefly so far. It’s been a grind, but I think it’s going to be worth it. I’m excited to see how she plays and to finally use all these materials I’ve been hoarding. Stay tuned for more updates, and I’ll let you know how it goes once I get her. Until next time, happy gaming!
