Okay, so yesterday was day two of this “watch your step” event thing, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a mess. Started out hopeful, you know? I laced up my shoes, made sure my trusty pedometer app was running, and headed out the door. The goal was to hit 10,000 steps, same as day one.
First few hours, everything was golden. I walked to the grocery store instead of driving, took the stairs instead of the elevator at work, even did a few laps around the block during my lunch break. I was feeling pretty good, watching those numbers climb on my app.

The Belt Problem
Then, disaster struck. Or, well, maybe not “disaster,” but definitely a major annoyance. My belt, the one I was wearing, decided to give up the ghost. I’m not talking about a fancy, expensive belt or anything, just a regular, everyday belt. I was gonna get a bottle of water.
I put my bottle of water and my phone in my * my pants started, you know, slipping.
It wasn’t a catastrophic failure, thankfully. I caught them before anything truly embarrassing happened. But it was a constant struggle. Every few steps, I had to hike my pants back * is my practice record.
