Well, let me tell ya, this whole Vexcalibur catalyst thing, it’s a real head-scratcher. You young folks and your fancy games. Back in my day, we didn’t have these things. We had sticks and stones, and we were happy! But, I hear all the young’uns talkin’ ’bout it, so I tried to figure it out.
First off, you gotta get this Vexcalibur thing. I reckon it’s some kinda space-age shootin’ stick. They call it an “exotic glaive.” Sounds like a fruit to me, but it ain’t. You get it from some secret mission, some “Variable quest” they call it. You gotta go into that Vex network, whatever that is. Sounds like a bunch of wires and lights, probably give you a headache. Just like those darn kids playin’ loud music all day.
Then there’s this catalyst thing. Apparently, it makes the Vexcalibur better. Like addin’ more spice to your stew, I guess. You gotta do some more missions to get ’em. I heard there are three of these catalysts, like three layers on a cake.
- One fella told me you gotta do that mission.
- Then you gotta do it again, but this time it’s gotta be “Legendary.”
- Sounds tough, like climbin’ that old oak tree down by the creek.
Now, I heard these catalysts can just drop, like apples from a tree. You can be doin’ patrols, strikes, somethin’ called “Nightfalls,” and even them “Heroic Adventures.” Sounds like a lot of work for an old lady like me. Then there’s this “Crucible” thing, sounds like somethin’ you’d use to melt metal. And raids, like when them crows get into your cornfield.
So, you do that thing on that “Legendary” mode, and you get a catalyst. There’s one called “Immovable Refit.” Makes it sound like it won’t budge, like my old mule, Bessie. Stubborn thing, she was. There are other catalyst that you can get, it seems that this Vexcalibur can get three of them, and they make it even more useful.
This Vexcalibur catalyst, it’s like a puzzle, ain’t it? You gotta find the pieces and put ’em together. And these pieces, they ain’t just layin’ around. You gotta work for ’em. Like findin’ a needle in a haystack, except the haystack is full of robots and lasers, I reckon.
They say you can “reshape” this Vexcalibur. Like moldin’ clay, I suppose. You gotta extract its “pattern.” Sounds like somethin’ a tailor would do. Then you can “apply” a catalyst. Like puttin’ a patch on your old jeans.
This whole thing, it’s a lot of rigmarole, if you ask me. But I guess that’s what the young folks like these days. They like their challenges. Like when we used to have to churn our own butter. Took forever, but it tasted better than that store-bought stuff. Maybe this Vexcalibur catalyst is the same way. Hard work makes it worthwhile.
So, to get this Vexcalibur catalyst, you gotta be persistent. Like a weed in your garden, you just keep comin’ back. You gotta keep doin’ them missions, keep fightin’ them robots, or whatever they are. And maybe, just maybe, you’ll get all them catalysts and make your Vexcalibur the best darn space-age shootin’ stick in the whole galaxy. Or at least, that’s what I hear.
You gotta finish that quest. It requires you complete Avalon, whatever that is, on Legendary, and then you will get the catalyst. Then you gotta do it again to get the other catalysts. That’s a lot of work, you know. This whole Vexcalibur catalyst thing is somethin’.
Anyways, that’s all I got for ya. Hope it helps. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go sit on my porch and watch the sunset. Don’t need no fancy Vexcalibur to enjoy that, that’s for sure. And it’s free, don’t need no catalyst neither!
