Okay, so I’ve been playing Honor of Kings like crazy lately, and I got super curious about something. I kept seeing folks talk about reflect damage and if it actually gives you any damage reduction. So, I decided to put it to the test myself, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a process!
My Experiment Setup
First things first, I needed to figure out how I was going to even test this. I hopped into a custom game, because, you know, I didn’t want to mess up my ranking while figuring things out. My plan went like this, find the gear, and test the results!
![Using Reflect Damage in Honor of Kings: Does It Reduce Damage Taken? Let us see!](https://www.james-machinery.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/fcb448dc859553ac429dba4c7d670a4a.jpeg)
- Pick a Hero:I went with a hero, and also make another hero as enemy.
- Get the Gear: I rushed to get the items that supposedly give reflect damage.
- Find a Punching Bag(enemy) :And, I just let the enemy hero wail on me, and vice versa.
- Note the Numbers: I tried my best to keep track of how much damage I was taking and dishing back.
Getting Down and Dirty
Okay, this is where it got tricky. I mean, trying to watch all those numbers flying around in the middle of a fight? Not easy! I spent a good chunk of time just letting the enemy hero attack me, over and over. I switched back and forth to get the numbers.
At first, I thought, “Yep, this is definitely working!” I felt like I was taking less damage, and the enemy hero was getting hurt, which felt like reflected damage. But then I started to second-guess myself. Was I just imagining it? Was it just the normal back-and-forth of the game?
Crunching the Numbers (Sort Of)
Honestly, I’m no math whiz. I didn’t have any fancy spreadsheets or anything. I basically just eyeballed it. I looked at my health bar before and after getting hit, and I looked at the enemy hero’s health bar too. After each fight, wrote down some numbers, and then do it all over again.
My Not-So-Scientific Conclusion
After all that testing, here’s what I think is going on. Reflect damage in Honor of Kings, it is just about sending some damage back at the attacker. But the core thing is, it doesn’t magically make you take less damage from the original hit.
So, if you’re hoping those reflect damage items will make you super tanky, that won’t work. They’re more about adding a little extra oomph to your attacks, a little revenge, rather than giving you a *’s just my take on it, from my own little experiment. Maybe someone out there with more Honor of Kings knowledge than me can give a more definitive answer, but hopefully this help those curious players!
