Okay, guys, let’s talk about gathering all the stuff you need to get your Raiden Shogun to max level. I finally got around to doing it, so I’m gonna break down my experience for ya.
First things first, I needed a plan. No point running around like a headless chicken, right? So, I looked up what I needed. I needed a LOT.

Operation: Ascension Material Hunt
I grabbed my notebook and made a list – old school style. Here’s the gist of what I was hunting for:
- Amakumo Fruit: These things are a pain, mostly found on Seirai Island. I hate that island, always getting zapped.
- Storm Beads: Had to beat up the Thunder Manifestation – that electric bird thing. A real shocker, this one.
- Handguards: Lots and lots of Nobushi and Kairagi needed to “retire.” I spent a good chunk of time just farming these guys. Kinda felt bad, not gonna lie.
- Those Vajrada Amethyst gems: You know, the purple ones. Got most of these from the Electro Hypostasis and weekly boss fights. Usual stuff.
- Mora: Always need more Mora. Always.
I started with the Amakumo Fruit. Seriously, Seirai Island is the worst. I equipped my best Electro resistance characters and just went for it. I used one of those interactive maps to find them all. Took a few runs, but I got enough eventually. Found a nice, safe farming route after a while, thankfully.
Next up, Storm Beads. Time to wrestle the Thunder Manifestation. I used my trusty Pyro team – makes quick work of it, you know? Still annoying, with all the teleporting around, but doable. Repeated this a bunch of times. Got into a rhythm.
Then, it was Handguard hunting time. I marked down some good spots on my map where lots of Nobushi hang out. Went through them like a lawnmower. This took the longest, honestly. Just a grind. I put on some music and just zoned out, hacking and slashing.
For the Vajrada Amethyst gems, it was just the usual weekly routine. Childe, Azhdaha, and the Electro Hypostasis when I needed some extra. Pretty straightforward, just had to remember to do them every week.
All of the above farming process also involved the acquisition of Mora, but it still wasn’t enough, so I went around collecting Ley Line Outcrops, and I got a lot of Mora.

Finally, I had everything! I went to the character screen, clicked that “Ascend” button, and watched my Raiden Shogun get even more powerful. Felt good, man. All that work paid off!
So yeah, that was my journey to maxing out Raiden Shogun’s ascension. It’s a grind, but totally worth it in the end. Get your checklist ready, and good luck!
