Okay, so I’ve been trying out this new character in MultiVersus, Marvin the Martian. I wanted to get my hands on him so badly. At first, I tried to unlock him. Turns out, you need to spend some in-game currency to unlock him. I found out that you gotta use either 3,000 Gold or a Character Token.
I didn’t have enough Gold, so I just used a Character Token. After I got him, I started playing around with him to learn his moves. He is a Mage character in the game, so his basic skills are all magical. But to be honest, he feels a bit different from other mage characters I have tried.

Then I started digging into his moves, trying to figure out the best way to use him. His moves are pretty cool, I gotta say. He’s got all these gadgets and stuff. I started testing out all his attacks, seeing what works best in different situations.
- Jab: I pressed the attack button to make him do a jab. He pulled out a ray gun and shot a small laser beam, which is a pretty quick move.
- Up Special: I pressed the up and special buttons together, and he used his rocket boots to fly upwards. It’s a good way to get some height, especially when I tried to go back to the stage.
- Down Special: This one is interesting. I pressed down and special, and he dropped a space mine. It’s like setting a trap for enemies.
- Side Special: I pressed to the side and the special button, and he fired a bigger laser beam. I found that it was also effective.
After practicing all his moves, I jumped into some real matches. I tried to apply what I had learned. I used his rocket boots to get around and his space mines to control the area. It was a blast! I also tried to use his projectiles to keep enemies at bay.
I played a bunch of matches, and I started to get the hang of him. His vertical attacks are really strong, and I learned that he’s designed to get kills vertically. I was pulling off some crazy moves and winning some matches. It felt great!
So yeah, that’s my experience with Marvin the Martian in MultiVersus. He’s a fun character to play, and I’m definitely gonna keep practicing with him. If you guys haven’t tried him yet, I highly recommend it. Just remember you need to spend some in-game currency or a Character Token to unlock him. Trust me, he is worth it!
