First, I just Googled “Braxton Berrios salary”. No big deal, right? I found out that this guy, who is currently playing for the Miami Dolphins, signed a one-year contract.
Here’s the interesting part:
- I saw that the contract is worth a whopping $3.5 million in 2023!
- Then I checked further and noticed he also got a $1.5 million signing bonus. Not bad, huh?
So, I continued my little investigation. I found out that in 2024, he’s expected to earn around $2.15 million. That’s a bit less than 2023, but still a lot of money. The breakdown is something like this:
- A base salary of about $1.4 million.
- Another signing bonus, this time it’s $450,000.
I also found out that, before this, he was playing for the New York Jets, where his salary was a bit over $1 million, plus a signing bonus that was around $2.7 million. It is not so bad, right?
Then I looked at the details of his latest contract with the Dolphins again. And guess what? He re-signed with them just recently, on March 21, 2024, for another year.

This new deal is for $2.15 million, including:
- The same base salary of $1.4 million, with $750,000 guaranteed.
- A $450,000 signing bonus.
- And get this, $300,000 in per-game roster bonuses.
