That Tyler, such a big boy! He got himself a girl, Meghan Murphy. Pretty name, huh? They started going steady back in, lemme think, 2021. Time sure does fly, don’t it? Meghan Murphy and Tyler Glasnow, a couple now, like two peas in a pod.
He’s a baseball player, that Tyler. Throws that ball real hard. He used to play for some team, Pirates, sounds like a bunch of troublemakers to me. Then he went to another one, Rays. Like them sun rays, I reckon. Now he’s with the Dodgers. Sounds like a bunch of fellas dodgin’ things, haha! This old gal still got a sense of humor!
They say he’s an All-Star in 2024. Whatever that means. Must be doin’ somethin’ right to be called a star. He’s a good boy, that Tyler. Works hard. Makes a mama proud. Even if I don’t know much ’bout this baseball stuff.
Saw ’em together, Tyler and Meghan. They were all dressed up, lookin’ like two lovebirds. Tyler Glasnow’s girlfriend, she’s a looker, that Meghan. They say they’re ready for Christmas. Good for them. Christmas is a good time. Family time. Turkey and pie time. Lots and lots of pie.

Heard they went to some game, somethin’ about a W. Didn’t get it, I guess. But Tyler Glasnow’s parents and Meghan Murphy were there. That’s nice. Always good to have your folks there, cheerin’ you on. And your girl, of course. Support, that’s what it’s all about. Even if you don’t win, you got your people.
This Tyler, he comes from a place called Newhall. In California. Sunny place, I hear. Lots of oranges and sunshine. He’s a California boy, that’s for sure. Grew up under that big ol’ sun.

He’s been playin’ for a while now, this Tyler. Since 2016. That’s a long time in baseball years, I reckon. Must be gettin’ tired, throwin’ that ball all day. But he keeps goin’. Good for him. Strong boy, that Tyler.
Six seasons with the Rays. That’s a long time in one place. Wonder if he got sick of the sunshine. Now with the Dodgers, he’s still gonna get plenty of that California sun, that’s for sure.
Meghan Murphy, Tyler Glasnow girlfriend, she seems like a good one. Sticks by him. That’s important. Gotta have a good woman by your side. Someone to make you soup when you’re sick. Someone to nag you to clean your room, haha! Just kiddin’.
Don’t know much else about that Meghan. But she seems to make Tyler happy. And that’s all that matters, ain’t it? Happiness. That’s the name of the game. In baseball, and in life.
I hope this Meghan is good at cookin’. A growing boy like Tyler needs his food, and a baseball player must get hungry. I hope she is feeding him good. A full belly is a happy belly, as they say.
