Alright, guys, let’s dive into my journey of figuring out Town Hall 11 attack strategies in Clash of Clans. It’s been a wild ride, I gotta tell you!
The Initial Struggle
When I first hit TH11, I was pumped. New levels, new troops, new defenses… But then reality hit. My trusty old TH10 armies were getting crushed. I’m talking zero-star attacks, resources plundered, the whole nine yards. It was rough. I felt like I was back at square one, completely lost.

Experimenting and Failing
So, I started experimenting. I tried everything I could think of: mass dragons, GoWiPe, Lavaloon… you name it. I watched YouTube videos, read guides, and copied base layouts like a madman. Some attacks worked okay, most were complete disasters. I remember one time I spent hours planning a Queen Walk, only to have her wander off and get taken out by a single hidden tesla. Facepalm!
Finding My Go-To Strategies
After weeks of trial and error (and a whole lot of wasted resources), I finally started to see some consistent success. I discovered a few strategies that clicked with my playstyle. Here they are, from troops preparation to execution:
- Hybrid Queen Charge/Hogs:This became my bread and butter. Learning to funnel my Queen and Healers properly was key.
- Troops: Healers,Hog Riders, Wall Breakers, Baby Dragon, Wizards, Minions, and some clean-up troops.
- Spells: Rage, Heal, and some Poison spells.
- How: The idea is to use the Queen and Healers to take out a chunk of the base, then send in the Hog Riders to finish the job. It requires good timing and spell placement.
- Electro Dragon Spam (with a twist):Okay, I know what you’re thinking: “Edrags are noob.” But hear me out!
- Troops: Mostly Electro Dragons, some Balloons, and a few support troops.
- Spells: Rage and Freeze.
- How: Instead of just blindly dropping them, I started using a Stone Slammer to create a path and take out key defenses. It made a HUGE difference. The key is to funnel them correctly and use the spells wisely.
- P.E.K.K.A. BoBat:This one’s a bit more complex, but super satisfying when it works.
- Troops:P.E.K.*, Bowlers, Bats,Wizards,Wall Breakers.
- Spells: Rage, Heal, Freeze and Bats.
- How:Use P.E.K.* and Bowlers to create a funnel, then use the Bat Spells to overwhelm the remaining * the Wizard Towers.
Practice, Practice, Practice!
Even after finding strategies that worked “on paper,” I still had to practice… a lot. I joined a friendly clan that let me do constant friendly challenges. I tweaked my armies, adjusted my spell timings, and learned from my mistakes. Slowly but surely, I started to see improvement. Three-star attacks became more frequent, and I even started winning wars!
It’s an Ongoing Journey
I’m still learning, still experimenting, and still getting smashed sometimes. That’s the beauty of Clash of Clans, I guess. There’s always something new to learn, a new strategy to master, a new challenge to overcome. But at least now, I feel like I have a solid foundation at TH11. I’m not a pro by any means, but I’m definitely not the lost newbie I was a few months ago.
So, if you’re struggling at TH11, don’t give up! Keep experimenting, keep practicing, and you’ll find what works for you. And hey, if you have any tips or strategies you want to share, leave a comment below! We’re all in this together.
