Okay, so today I wanted to figure out the best brawlers for the “Out In The Open” Knockout map in Brawl Stars. I’ve been getting wrecked on this map, so I needed to do some serious experimenting.
Experiment Start!
First, I jumped into a bunch of Knockout matches on this map just to get a feel for what I was already doing wrong. I noticed I kept getting picked off from a distance. Snipers were having a field day with me! So, that was my first big takeaway: long-range brawlers are king here.

Testing Time
Next, I started trying out different brawlers. Here’s a breakdown of what I found:
- Piper: She’s a classic choice for a reason. Her range is insane, and on a map this open, she can just dominate. I had a few matches where I barely had to move to get kills.
- Belle: Another great sniper. Her super, with that bouncing shot, is super useful for flushing people out of cover (even though there isn’t much cover on this map!).
- Brock: His rockets are great for area denial, and his long range lets him poke at enemies from safety. Plus, his super can really mess up the other team’s positioning.
- Nani: Her super control can create surprise one hit kill, and control the enemy far away.
I also experimented with some brawlers that didn’t work so well:
- Edgar: He’s my go-to in other modes, but on this map? Forget it. He just gets destroyed before he can even get close to anyone.
- El Primo: Same problem as Edgar. He’s just too short-ranged to be effective here.
- Mortis: I thought maybe his mobility would help, but nope. He’s still too vulnerable to ranged attacks.
Final Conclusion
After all my testing, I’ve concluded that the best brawlers for “Out In The Open” are definitely those long-range snipers. Piper, Belle, Brock, and Nani are all solid choices. If you’re playing this map, stay away from the short-range brawlers – you’ll just be feeding the enemy team!
And, remember this is just my experience. Try everyone out and let me know which Brawler works best for you. I’m always keen to know if someone else found a different strategy!
