Okay, so, today I wanted to talk about this thing called Bibberbang. It’s kinda like a mushroom, but, like, way more annoying. I was messing around in this dark, dank place called the Underdark, just exploring and stuff, when I stumbled upon this whole field of these green, glowy things. They looked kinda cool, but man, was I in for a surprise.
At first, I didn’t really know what I was looking at. I got a little close, and boom! These things exploded into this nasty green gas. Turns out, Bibberbangs are sensitive to movement and explode when you get too close. I coughed, I hacked, and I definitely got poisoned. Not fun at all. Lesson learned: don’t go near them!
- Step 1: Finding the Bibberbang field – This was pretty easy, to be honest. It’s in the Underdark. And, it’s hard to miss a whole field of glowing green mushrooms.
After that little incident, I decided to figure out how to deal with these things without, you know, dying. I tried a few things. First, I tried using the mage hand spell. I was able to move items with it by dragging them or throwing them. Then I tried using my ranged weapons. A bow and arrow, you know? That worked like a charm. I was able to pop them from a safe distance without triggering the explosion. And, the best part, since these bibberbang things are super flammable, if you hit them with a fire attack, they go up in flames, which is pretty cool to watch.
- Step 2: Dealing with the Bibberbang – I found out that ranged attacks are the way to go. Fire is especially effective.
But here’s where it gets interesting. I found this dude, Baelen Bonecloak, trapped right in the middle of the field. He was after some rare mushroom or something. Now, I had to figure out how to get him out without blowing us both up. I tried to use my flying summon to carry the bag to him but it didn’t work. So, I used the mage hand spell to move Baelen’s bag to him. And, once it was close enough, he was able to teleport to safety on his own.
- Step 3: Rescuing Baelen – I used the mage hand to get Baelen’s bag to him.
So, yeah, that was my adventure with Bibberbangs. I found them, I got poisoned by them, I learned how to destroy them, and I even rescued a guy from them. All in a day’s work, right? Just remember, if you ever come across these things, keep your distance, use ranged attacks, and watch out for that poisonous gas. They’re a pain, but they’re definitely beatable.
