Okay, so I’ve been digging into this game called Wuthering Waves lately, and there’s this one character, Calcharo, that I’m really into. But I was curious about who’s the guy behind the voice, you know? So, I started my little investigation.
First, I just did a simple search to see who voices Calcharo in English. Turns out, it’s this dude named Ben Cura. I didn’t know who he was at first, so I did a bit more searching. Turns out he’s been in a few things, like, he voiced Noir Corne and Phantom in Arknights, and some guy named Vincenzo in Dying Light 2. That’s cool, I guess. Oh, and apparently, he’s not just a voice actor, he also directs stuff. Pretty multi-talented, huh?
Then, I went down another rabbit hole and checked out who voices Calcharo in the Japanese version. It’s some guy called Toshiyuki Morikawa. And this guy, oh boy, he’s a big deal! He’s been in a ton of stuff. One guy online even said he’s the same person who does the voice for Sephiroth in Final Fantasy. No way! That’s insane! It totally blew my mind. He’s also done voices for some characters in Bleach and Mushoku Tensei. This Morikawa guy is everywhere!
Checking Out the Whole Cast
I got curious and looked at the images for the whole Wuthering Waves cast. There were, like, 29 pictures of different voice actors and the characters they play. It was a lot to take in, but it was pretty cool to see all the faces behind the voices.

I also found out that not all the voice actors for the game have been revealed yet. So, there’s still some mystery there. I guess we’ll have to wait and see who else is part of this game.
So yeah, that’s basically what I found out about the voice actors for Calcharo in Wuthering Waves. It was a fun little adventure, and I learned a lot about the people who bring these characters to life. Pretty neat, right?
