Okay, so let’s talk about getting through the sixth part of the Mt. Firmament traces in Wuthering Waves. I’d already knocked out the first five, and honestly, some of them were a bit of a pain, you know?
Getting Started with Trace 6
So, I loaded up the game, ready to tackle this next piece. The quest marker pointed me generally towards an area on Mt. Firmament, same as usual. It wasn’t super specific, just a circle on the map. Typical. I started hoofing it over there, climbing rocks and gliding when I could. Gotta say, the scenery up there is pretty nice, but I was focused on the task.

Once I got into the highlighted zone on the map, the real hunt began. These things aren’t always just sitting out in the open. I started wandering around, keeping my eyes peeled for anything that looked out of place or interactive. You know, those little glowing spots or weird structures.
Finding the Spot and Doing the Thing
It took me a little bit. I went up high, then down low, checked behind some big rock formations. Finally, I spotted it. It wasn’t super obvious, kind of tucked away near a ledge. It was one of those mechanisms you gotta interact with, maybe needed a specific character’s skill, or just a simple activation.
I walked up to it, and the prompt appeared. Here’s basically what I did:
- Activated the device: Just hit the interact button. Simple enough.
- Followed the energy flow?: Sometimes these things shoot out a beam or create a path. I can’t recall exactly for this one, but usually, you follow something. I think I had to maybe activate a few smaller points that lit up nearby after hitting the first one.
- Maybe a small fight?: I think a couple of those standard Tacet Discords popped up after I messed with the main device. Nothing too serious, just had to clear them out quickly. Annoying, but part of the process.
- Final interaction: After clearing the mobs (if there were any, my memory’s a bit fuzzy on that specific detail), I think I had to go back to the main device or interact with a newly revealed spot to actually ‘collect’ the trace or complete the step.
It wasn’t the hardest one, I gotta admit. More about just finding the starting point than solving a complex puzzle. The key was just being thorough in the search area. Once I found that initial mechanism, the rest just sort of flowed naturally. Didn’t take too long, maybe 10 minutes tops once I was in the right zone.
And that was it! Trace number six, done and dusted. On to the next part of whatever this mountain wants from me. Always something, right?
