Alright, so I decided to tackle the “red mobs” in Wuthering Waves today. I’d heard they were a bit tougher, so I wanted to see what the fuss was about.
First things first, I geared up. Made sure my resonators were leveled, skills upgraded, the whole nine yards. You don’t want to go into a fight like this unprepared, you know?

Scouting the Location
Next, I spent some time scouting the map. These red fellas don’t just pop up anywhere. I looked through several areas that I knew had a decent mob density, trying to get a feel for where they were hanging out.
Engage the enemy
Once I found a good spot, it was go time. I jumped in, starting with my usual rotation. And…yup, they definitely hit harder than the regular mobs. I had to actually, you know, pay attention to my dodging and parrying. No more face-tanking everything!
- The first few attempts, I got smacked around a bit. I wasn’t used to the attack patterns, and those red-tinted attacks? Ouch.
- But, I started to learn their moves. A little sidestep here, a well-timed parry there. I started to get the hang of it.
- Then I tried to change some of my resonators, to better fit the mobs’ skills.
Finally Beat them
Finally, after a few tries – and I mean a few – I started taking them down consistently. It felt good, like a proper challenge. I wouldn’t say it was easy, but it definitely felt rewarding to finally figure them out. I am so happy!
