Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into Stellar Blade, and I finally tackled getting the “canon” ending. Man, what a ride! It wasn’t as straightforward as I thought it’d be, so I figured I’d share my experience, bumps and all.
First Attempt (and Fail)
My first playthrough, I just went with the flow. I helped people when I could, explored a bit, but mostly just focused on the main story and, you know, hacking and slashing through those Naytiba. When I got to the end… well, let’s just say it wasn’t the ending I was hoping for. It felt incomplete, like there was more to the story. I don’t want to spoil anything for anybody, so I am not going to say what heppened.

Digging for Clues
So, I hit the internet. I checked out some forums, read some guides (avoiding spoilers as much as possible!), and started to piece together what I needed to do differently. Turns out, there’s a lot of little things that contribute to which ending you get. Specifically, it seems like Lily’s progress bar, along with a key story point, is a HUGE factor.
The “Canon” Run
This is not easy.
Here’s what I focused on this time around:
- Eidos 7 grind: I spent a ton of extra time in Eidos 7, making absolutely sure I found all the memory sticks and data entries. It felt like a chore at times, but I wanted to be thorough.
- Side Quests Galore: I helped everyone I could. Seriously, every little side quest, even the fetch quests that felt kinda pointless. I figured every bit of positive interaction had to count for something.
- Lily’s Progress:Keep watching Lily’s progress until 100%.
- The Big Choice: I am not going to spoil anything.
The Payoff
After all that extra effort, I finally got to the ending again. And… it was different! It was way more satisfying. It felt like the “true” ending, the one the developers really intended. It tied up loose ends, gave more context to the story, and just generally felt more complete. Without giving away any spoilers, it definitely felt like the canon route.
So, if you’re aiming for the Stellar Blade canon ending, be prepared to put in the work! It’s not just about beating the game; it’s about experiencing everything it has to offer. Good luck, and happy Naytiba hunting!
