Alright, let’s talk about getting my hands on some “common carcass chunk” in Soulmask. I needed these things for, like, everything it seemed – crafting, building, you name it. So, I set out to figure out the best way to stock up.
Early Attempts (and Failures)
First, I just went around whacking every animal I saw. Boars, deer, those weird lizard things – everything was a target. I got some carcass chunks, sure, but it was slow going. Plus, some of those critters are surprisingly tough early on, and I ended up wasting a lot of stamina (and getting knocked out a few times).

The “Aha!” Moment
Then I realized something: the smaller, weaker animals seemed to drop carcass chunks just as often as the bigger ones. And they were way easier to kill! I started focusing on things like rabbits, chickens, and those little armadillo-looking things.
My Hunting Routine
- Find a good spot: I looked for areas with lots of these smaller animals. Grasslands and the edges of forests seemed to be the best.
- Weapon of choice: I used my basic spear, it is a good one. One or two good hits, and they were down.
- Gather everything: Make sure to loot every carcass! Don’t leave anything behind.
- Rinse and repeat: I’d just run around the area, killing and looting, until my inventory was full.
Making it Even Easier
Later on, I got a better handle on taming. So i have tamed animals that help me do a lot things, which made hunting even faster. My tamed animals just do the job!
So, yeah, that’s how I got my “common carcass chunk” farm going. It’s not glamorous, but it works! Hope this helps someone out there who’s struggling to find these things.
