Alright, let’s talk about this zzz battle pass thing. I’d been seeing it pop up, you know, in the game menus and stuff. Heard some folks talking about it too. After looking it over a bit, I thought, “Okay, why not? Let’s see what this is all about.” Seemed like a way to maybe get some extra goodies while just playing the game like I normally do, more or less.
Getting Started with It
So, first thing I did was actually grab the pass. There were a couple of options, the free track and the paid one. I looked at the rewards on both and decided to spring for the paid version. Figured if I was gonna spend time on it, might as well try and get the most out of it. Forked over the whatever-it-cost, and boom, it was active.

Then I poked around to figure out how you actually level this thing up. It was pretty straightforward, really. Basically, you get points for doing daily and weekly tasks. Stuff like:
- Logging in each day.
- Completing a certain number of missions.
- Using up your energy or whatever the game calls it.
- Sometimes specific tasks, like beating a certain boss or clearing a specific stage.
Nothing too crazy, mostly things I’d be doing anyway, which was kind of the point, I guess.
The Day-to-Day Grind
So I started making it a point to check those tasks every day. Logged in, knocked out the dailies. Some days it was quick, maybe 15-20 minutes. Other days, especially when the weekly tasks reset, it took a bit longer if there was something more involved. It wasn’t exactly hard, but you definitely had to be consistent. Miss a few days, and you’d fall behind on points pretty quickly.
Honestly, some tasks felt like chores. Like, “Ugh, gotta go clear that stage again?” But mostly it was okay. Integrated reasonably well into just playing. Watching the experience bar fill up bit by bit was kinda satisfying, you know? Like ticking items off a checklist.
I kept at it pretty steadily. Made sure to clear out most, if not all, of the weekly tasks before the reset. Sometimes I’d push a bit harder near the end of the week if I was close to another level.
Hitting the Levels and Getting the Loot
Leveling up happened gradually. Each time I hit a new level, I’d pop back into the battle pass screen to claim the reward. Got a mix of things. Lots of in-game currency, materials for upgrades, some experience boosters. The paid track definitely had the better stuff, including some exclusive cosmetic item later on, which was neat.

I managed to complete the whole thing before it expired. Got all the levels, claimed all the rewards. Looking back at everything I pulled out of it, it felt like a decent haul for the price I paid upfront, especially considering a lot of it was earned just by playing normally.
So, Was It Worth It?
Yeah, I’d say so. For me, at least. If you’re playing the game regularly anyway, it’s a pretty good way to get extra value. It encourages consistent play, which can be good or bad depending on how you look at it. It did feel like a bit of a commitment, making sure I logged in and did the tasks, especially on busy days.
But overall? The rewards felt worth the initial cost and the bit of focused effort it required. I got a bunch of useful materials that helped speed up progression, plus some fun extras. Probably saved me some time or money compared to getting those things separately. Would I do it again for the next season? Yeah, most likely, assuming I’m still playing actively. It just kind of makes sense if you’re already invested in the game.
