Alright, so listen up, y’all. There’s this fella, Alexis Ohanian. Now, I ain’t no fancy city folk, so I didn’t know him from Adam before, but the news is buzzin’ about him. Seems like he’s a big deal, married to that tennis gal, Serena somethin’-or-other. You know, the one with the muscles? Yeah, her.
Anyways, this Alexis fella, he’s been havin’ some troubles, health-wise. Poor thing had to get half his thyroid taken out. Can you believe it? Half! Lord have mercy. They said he had some “suspicious nodules” or somethin’. Sounds scary, right? I tell ya, gettin’ old ain’t for the faint of heart.
He’s a young whippersnapper, though, only 41 or so. Still, gotta take care of yourself, I always say. Eat your greens, get some sunshine, and don’t go around stressin’ too much. That’s what my mama used to tell me, and she lived to be a ripe old age, bless her soul.
- So, this Alexis fella, he’s got money, that’s for sure. Folks say he started this here “Reddit” thing. I ain’t got no clue what that is, sounds like somethin’ them young folks mess with on their computin’ machines. But they say it made him a pile of money.
- And that wife of his, she’s got plenty of money too, playin’ that tennis game. They’re what you call a “power couple,” I reckon. Rich and famous, livin’ the high life.
- But money can’t buy you health, can it? That’s what I always say. You can have all the gold in the world, but if you ain’t got your health, you ain’t got nothin’.
They say he had this surgery around Thanksgiving time. Well, ain’t that somethin’? Gives ya somethin’ to be thankful for, I guess. Thankful that they caught it in time and he’s gonna be alright. He’s got little kids, ya know. Gotta be around for them. That’s what matters most in this life, family.
This fella, he ain’t just sittin’ on his pile of money neither. They say he gives some of it away to help folks. Somethin’ about “climate change” and helpin’ young folks start businesses. Well, that’s right neighborly of him, I’d say. We all gotta do our part to make this world a better place, even if I don’t rightly understand all that “climate” talk.
And talk about family, him and that Serena, they got a couple of little girls. One of ’em’s called Olympia, I heard. Cute as a button, I bet. They say they don’t celebrate birthdays though, somethin’ about their religion. Jehovah’s somethin’-or-other. Well, to each their own, I say. As long as they’re happy and healthy, that’s all that matters.
So, yeah, that’s the news about Alexis Ohanian. He’s a rich fella, married to a famous tennis player, had a bit of a health scare, but seems like he’s gonna be okay. And he’s tryin’ to do some good in the world, too. Can’t ask for much more than that, can ya?
Now, I gotta go make some supper. All this talk about rich folks and health problems makes me hungry. Gotta keep my strength up, you know. Life’s too short to be frettin’ all the time. Just gotta take it one day at a time and be thankful for what you got.
Anyways, I hope that Alexis fella stays healthy and keeps doin’ good things. And I hope that Serena keeps on winnin’ them tennis matches. They seem like good folks, even if they are a bit fancy for my taste. But hey, we’re all just people tryin’ to make our way in this world, ain’t we?
One more thing I almost forgot, this Alexis fellow also does something called investing in businesses. Putting money into different ideas hoping they’ll do well. Sounds risky to me, like betting on a horse race, but I guess that’s how you make the big bucks. Seems like he’s got a finger in every pie, this one. Well, good for him, I say. As long as he’s happy and not hurtin’ nobody, that’s all that matters in the end.
