Okay, so I was super hyped for the new Overwatch season, Season 12, and like everyone else, I had no clue when it was actually dropping. I’m on EST, so I needed the exact time, not some vague “it’s coming” announcement.
Digging for Answers
First, I hit up the official Overwatch channels – you know, Twitter, Facebook, the usual suspects. Nothing concrete. Just a bunch of “get ready!” posts. Frustrating!
Then I scrolled through some forums and fan sites. Lots of speculation, some folks saying it’s usually around 2 PM EST, others guessing later. It was a mess.
I even tried to remember when past seasons started, but my memory is like a sieve. Could have been afternoon, could have been evening. Ugh.
The Waiting Game
So, I basically spent the whole day refreshing pages, keeping an eye on the game launcher, and hoping for some kind of official countdown. Nothing. My excitement was slowly turning into annoyance.
