Alright, so the other day I found myself needing a picture of Hasanabi’s dog, Kaya. Not just any picture, though, I specifically wanted a PNG file, you know, the kind with a clear background. Don’t ask me why, sometimes you just get these ideas, maybe for a dumb meme or sticking it onto another picture, whatever.
So, naturally, the first thing I did was hop onto my computer and punch in “hasanabi kaya png” into the search bar. Simple enough, right? Well, sort of. I got a bunch of pictures back, loads of Kaya looking cute or goofy, but finding a decent PNG was another story.
The Search Begins
It was mostly just regular pictures, JPEGs mainly. Some looked like they might be PNGs, but when I clicked on them, nope, white background square. Classic trick. Found a few that claimed to be PNGs, but they were tiny, like thumbnail size, totally useless for what I had in mind. Others were clearly just screenshots from the stream, kinda blurry.
- Searched different variations: “kaya hasan dog png”, “hasan piker kaya transparent”.
- Looked through image search pages, scrolled for ages.
- Checked out some fan sites or forums briefly, still no luck finding a clean, ready-to-use PNG.
Taking Matters Into My Own Hands
After clicking around for maybe 15 minutes and getting nowhere fast, I figured, screw it, I’ll just make one myself. It can’t be that hard. I already had a few decent pictures of Kaya saved, just regular photos with backgrounds.
So, here’s what I did:
First, I picked the picture I liked best. Found a pretty clear shot of Kaya sitting, looking straight ahead. Good enough.
Next, I needed to get rid of the background. I’m no Photoshop wizard, okay? I just used one of those free background remover websites you find online. Uploaded the picture, let the site do its thing. It wasn’t perfect first try, it kinda chewed up the edges of Kaya’s fur a little bit. Had to try maybe two different sites, or fiddle with the ‘touch-up’ tools they sometimes have.
It took a bit of messing around, honestly. Sometimes those auto tools cut off an ear or leave weird bits of the background floating around. Had to zoom in, clean it up manually where I could. Just clicking bits to erase or restore. Took maybe another 10 minutes of fiddling?

Finally, once it looked decent enough – not professional, but good enough for my dumb project – I made sure to download it as a PNG file. That was the whole point, right? To get that transparent background.
The Result
And bam! There it was. My very own Hasanabi Kaya PNG. It wasn’t found, it was made. Took a little more effort than just downloading something, but hey, I got exactly the picture I wanted, cropped just right, with no background. Stuck it on the thing I was making, looked pretty good.
So yeah, that was my little adventure trying to get a specific image file. Sometimes you gotta do it yourself. End result? Got the PNG, mission accomplished.
