Well, let me tell ya ’bout this Scheffler bunch. Folks keep talkin’ ’bout Scottie, that golf fella. He’s somethin’ alright, winnin’ all them golf games. But he ain’t the only one in that family, no sirree. He’s got sisters, and they’re somethin’ else too.
This here’s about Sarah Scheffler, one of Scottie’s sisters. Now, I ain’t seen her play golf myself, but they say she’s pretty good. Plays in them big tournaments, the LPGA they call it. Must be tough, all that walkin’ and hittin’ them little balls. But she’s a Scheffler, and them Schefflers, they’re a tough bunch, I tell ya.
- Scottie, he’s the famous one, plays golf real good.
- Then there’s Callie, she played golf too, even went to that Texas A&M college. She even carried Scottie’s golf bag once, in a big golf game. Smart girl, that Callie. She had a baby ’bout the same time Scottie and his wife had theirs. Ain’t that somethin’? Two babies in one day!
- And Mollie, well, I hear she swung a golf club too. Seems like everyone in that family knows how to play.
- And then there’s Sarah, the one we’re talkin’ about. She’s makin’ a name for herself in golf too, just like her brother.
Scottie, he got himself hitched to a girl named Meredith. They knew each other since they was kids, went to school together and all. Now they got themselves a little one, a boy. And Callie, she had a baby too, almost the same day! That family’s growin’ fast, I tell ya. Must be a lot of diapers and baby food in that house.
Scottie and Callie, they was always close, bein’ the oldest. Callie, she was the first, the one that always knew what to do. Scottie, he came along a bit later. But they all played golf, every last one of ’em. Even their momma and daddy, they musta played a bit, to get all them kids into it.
I heard someone sayin’ somethin’ ’bout Scottie callin’ Sarah “little fat”. Now, I ain’t seen her myself, but they say she’s thin as a rail. Must be some kinda joke, you know, how brothers and sisters tease each other. They don’t mean nothin’ by it. Just havin’ a bit of fun, I reckon.
Anyways, this Sarah, she’s somethin’ special. She’s out there playin’ golf with the best of ‘em. And she’s a Scheffler, so you know she’s got that fightin’ spirit. Don’t you go countin’ her out. She’s gonna make her mark, just like her brother. You just wait and see.
So that’s the story of Sarah Scheffler, as best as I can tell ya. She’s part of a big family, a golf family. And she’s out there makin’ her own way, swingin’ that club and chasin’ that little white ball. Good for her, I say. Good for her. She’s a strong woman, that Sarah.
