That Rose Namajunas, you know, the one they call “Thug.” She’s a tough one, that one. I seen her fight, Lord have mercy. She used to have, you know, not much hair. Kinda like a boy, you might say. But now, she got some hair on her head. Makes her look different, that’s for sure. This rose namajunas with hair thing, it’s a big change.
She used to look so tough, like she could just knock you out with one look. Now, she still tough, don’t get me wrong, but she got a little somethin’ different about her. That hair, it softens her up some, I reckon. It’s like she was a model or something before, someone told me that. But she still got that fire, you know? Like she could still beat the pants off anyone who messed with her.
I remember when she first started out, she didn’t have no hair to speak of. Just a little buzz cut, like a fella just out of the army or somethin’. They called her “Thug” even then. She was a fighter, through and through. Didn’t matter what she looked like. She was in that octagon, she was there to win.
Rose Namajunas, she’s somethin’ else. Two times, she was the champ. That’s somethin’, ain’t it? Two times! She beat some tough girls, too. Not just anybody. She earned it, every bit of it. She worked hard, that one.
Some folks, they don’t like it when a woman’s tough like that. They think she should be all girly and whatnot. But not Rose. She’s her own woman. She don’t care what nobody thinks. She just does what she wants to do. And she does it good, too. You know, there is a girl, I forgot her name, she cut her hair to make the weight. Rose probably do the same thing if she need to. They are tough women.
Now she’s got that hair, she looks a little different, but she’s still the same Rose. Still tough as nails. Still a fighter. Still got that look in her eye, like she’s ready to take on the world. This whole rose namajunas with hair situation, it ain’t changed her none. Not on the inside, anyway.

I seen a lot of fighters in my day. Some of ’em tough, some of ’em not so much. But Rose, she’s one of the toughest. And she’s got that heart, you know? She don’t give up. She keeps comin’, no matter what. That’s what makes her special. That’s what makes her a champion.
Now, I ain’t no expert on this fightin’ stuff. I just watch it sometimes. But I know what I see. And what I see in Rose is a real fighter. A real champion. With hair or without hair, she is still that “Thug” Rose. Don’t you forget it. People say she was abused as a child and she shaved her head, maybe that’s true. She is a tough one.
You see her walkin’ down the street, you might not think nothin’ of it. Just another girl, you might think. But you’d be wrong. That girl’s got fire in her belly. She’s got somethin’ to prove. And she ain’t afraid to show it. That rose namajunas with hair, she still a warrior. Remember that, you can tell.
I don’t know what she’s gonna do next. Maybe she’ll fight again, maybe she won’t. But one thing’s for sure: she’s made her mark. She’s shown the world what she’s made of. And that’s somethin’ to be proud of, hair or no hair. This rose namajunas with hair thing, people talk about it, sure. But what matter is, she still the same tough woman.
She done good, that Rose. She done real good. And she ain’t done yet. Just you wait and see. She come from that Ultimate Fighter show, and now look at her. She got more to show, with or without hair. You can bet your bottom dollar on that.
