Okay, here’s my story about trying to find the price of the Renegade Hot Dog at PNC Park:
So, I’m a huge Pirates fan, right? And I love going to PNC Park. It’s just a beautiful ballpark, and there’s nothing better than watching a game on a sunny afternoon with a hot dog in hand. But this year, I kept hearing about this new Renegade Hot Dog. Apparently, it’s some kind of crazy, loaded hot dog. Naturally, I gotta try it.
First, I start checking online, you know, just browsing around to see what this thing is all about. I’m reading that it’s only available near Section 133 until the All-Star Break. Okay, good to know. I need to make sure I get there before the break. I’m seeing some talk about it being a bit fancy, which usually means a bit pricey, too. Gotta prepare the wallet.
I find out that the food provider of PNC Park is the one behind it. There was this whole announcement about the new foods, I’m just interested in the hot dog, I am a simple man. I don’t care about all these new fancy burritos like that one guy was talking about on some website.
Then, I start trying to find the actual price. This is where it gets tricky. I’m digging through websites, looking at delivery menus, just trying to get a number. I’m picturing myself there, at the park, ready to order, and I don’t want any surprises. I see all this other info like some forest adventure park and an apartment listing in San Diego – seriously, what’s that got to do with anything? Totally useless.
I’m starting to get a little frustrated. I see words like “adorable” and “affordable” but they’re talking about a Jeep, not a hot dog. I even ended up on some study website, it seems like a student was trying to study something here. All I see was “binary format” and “CodePlex” – still no price!
Finally, I decide I’m just gonna have to go to the park and find out for myself. I mean, how much could a hot dog really be, right? It’s probably just a few bucks more than a regular one. It’s an adventure, I guess. Next time I’m at PNC Park, I’m heading straight for Section 133 and getting my hands on that Renegade Hot Dog. Price be damned, I’m gonna try it!
