Okay, so, I’ve been seeing all this buzz online about Red Dead Redemption 3. You know, the usual internet rumors and all that. Now, Rockstar hasn’t said a peep about it officially, but that hasn’t stopped the speculation train from leaving the station. I mean it’s been years since RDR2, right?
So, I started digging around, just to see what people are saying. Most of what I found was just wishful thinking and fan theories, honestly. But then I stumbled upon this tweet from Roger Clark, the guy who played Arthur Morgan. Back in December 2023, he said something like, yeah, there’ll probably be another Red Dead game eventually. But, and this is a big but, he thinks his character’s story is wrapped up. Makes sense, given how RDR2 ended.
The Waiting Game
Now, here’s the thing that really got me: the timeline. I read some articles where “industry experts” are guessing that RDR3 might not even come out until like 2034. Yeah, you heard that right, 2034! Their reasoning? Rockstar is probably all hands on deck with GTA VI right now, which is apparently coming in 2025. And those games take forever to make, so, you know… do the math.
My Two Cents
- First, I decided to take all of this with a huge grain of salt. It’s all speculation at this point.
- Second, I realized I’m probably going to be an old man by the time RDR3 comes out, if it even does.
- Finally, I ended up just replaying RDR2. Figured I should enjoy the masterpiece we already have, instead of waiting for something that might be a decade away.
So, that’s my little journey into the world of RDR3 rumors. I started with curiosity, dug through a bunch of information, and ended up right back where I started – playing and loving Red Dead Redemption 2. Maybe that’s the real takeaway here.
