Okay, so everyone’s always going on about Randy Orton, right? The wrestler guy? And his entrance music? Well, I wanted to see what the big deal was, so I decided to do a little digging myself.
First thing I did was just type “Randy Orton theme song” into a search engine. You know, the usual. Immediately, I found that this tune is actually a real song called “Voices” by a band called Rev Theory. Apparently, it became his theme song back in, like, 2008. I guess it was a good fit cause Orton has this whole… I don’t know, crazy persona.
So, I found this old forum, and someone on there was saying that Randy Orton was the latest WWE star who was having crowds singing his theme song. Sounds fun, I guess.
Then I started digging a little more, ’cause I was curious if he always had the same song. Turns out, nope! Found some stuff about an older theme song called “Burn In My Light”. Apparently, there’s some video of it out there, but I couldn’t get it to play. No biggie.
But here’s the kicker – I found this interview, where Orton himself was talking about his music. And guess what? He’s not even that big of a fan of “Voices”! Can you believe it? He said they were working on something new for him because he didn’t really vibe with the Rev Theory song. That is a bummer. It seems like the WWE’s been changing up a lot of their music lately, so maybe that’s why.
Anyway, that’s basically all I found out. It was a fun little rabbit hole to go down. I guess I can see why people like the song – it’s pretty catchy. But it’s also kinda funny that Orton himself isn’t that into it.
