Alright, so I wanted to dig into the pick rates for Rainbow Six Siege operators in Year 9. It’s something I’ve been curious about, seeing how the meta shifts and all that. So, I decided to just jump in and see what I could find out.
Getting Started
First things first, I needed to figure out where to even get this info. Obviously, Ubisoft doesn’t just hand over all their data. I started by just Googling around – “Rainbow Six Siege pick rates Y9,” stuff like that. I messed around with some variations, and finally I found useful info.

Collecting the data
I started tracking the data.
- I opened the game, and played many times to get enough data.
- I wrote down which operators were picked each round. Attackers, defenders, the whole shebang.
- Kept at it for a good few days, playing several matches each day to get a decent sample size. It wasn’t exactly scientific, but I figured it was better than nothing.
My Y9 Pick Rate Observations
After all that work, what did I find? Well, a few things stood out:
- Some operators are just super popular. I saw a ton of familiar faces. you know.
- New operators definitely get a boost. .
- The meta is always changing..
So, that was my little experiment. Honestly, it was kinda fun to do, and it definitely gave me a better sense of what operators are popular right now. It also helped me understand why certain operators are picked more often – their abilities, their guns, how they fit into the current meta. It is really useful for my gameplay.
