Alright, guys, so today I decided to tackle that quest marker I’d been ignoring for a while – “go to the abandoned shrine northeast of Konda Village.” Sounded simple enough, right? Famous last words.
Getting Started
First, I fast-traveled to the nearest waypoint, the one just south of Konda Village. I figured I’d just run northeast and stumble upon this “abandoned shrine.” No problem.

I started running. And running. And running. Okay, maybe “northeast” was a bit more… vague than I anticipated. The landscape was all cliffs and rice paddies, and I was starting to think I’d taken a wrong turn somewhere.
Lost and Confused
I pulled up my map again. Nope, still heading northeast. But there was this weird, circular area on the map that I hadn’t explored yet. It looked kinda… hollow. I had a hunch.
I kept going, dodging Electro Slimes and those annoying Hilichurl archers. Finally, I reached the edge of this circular area, and yep, it was a big ol’ hole in the ground. A well, to be precise.
Down the Well
Of course the shrine was at the bottom of a well. Why not? I could have use my fly skill down, but i want to save energy,so i carefully go down to the wall.
- Saw some weird roots and stuff down there.
- Found a chest – score!
- Spotted some kind of Electro barrier. Uh oh.
The Electro Barrier Puzzle
This is where things got interesting. There were these little Electro… things… floating around. I figured I had to do something with them, so I started experimenting.
I tried hitting them with Electro attacks. Nope. I tried hitting them with Anemo. Still nothing. I was about to give up and Google it (don’t judge, we all do it), when I noticed something.

There were these smaller shrines, each with a glowing purple symbol. And the symbols were in a specific order. Aha! I realized I had to guide the Electro… floaty things… to the shrines in the correct order.
I had to change my perspective, so I climbed up and looked down to be clearer.
It took a few tries (okay, maybe more than a few), but I finally managed to do it. The Electro barrier disappeared, and I could finally proceed.
The Abandoned Shrine (Finally!)
Behind the barrier was a small, dilapidated shrine. And a quest marker. Sweet relief! I interacted with the shrine, and… well, that triggered another quest. Of course it did.
But hey, at least I found the abandoned shrine. It only took me, like, an hour of wandering around and getting lost. And solving a slightly annoying puzzle. All in a day’s work, right?
i take a deep breath, and ready to take a new quest!
