Okay, so I was trying to figure out this whole “purple flowers” thing in Stardew Valley. I’d heard some chatter about it, and it seemed like a puzzle I wanted to crack. It all started when I finally made it to Ginger Island – man, that took a while!
Once I got there, I stumbled upon this place called the Island Field Office. Inside, there’s a survey thing going on. And, wouldn’t you know it, one of the questions is about counting purple flowers. Honestly, I totally winged it the first time. I think I guessed something way off, like 10 or something. Big mistake!

Counting, Counting, and More Counting…
So, I realized I needed to get serious. I started exploring, I explored the place, trying to spot every single purple flower I could find.I mean, I looked everywhere.
After what felt like forever(it must have been days in-game), I finally had a solid number.I counted again, making sure I didn’t miss anything hidden behind trees or anything sneaky like that.
The Big Reveal(Finally!)
Turns out, and don’t hate me, it’s not as exciting as you * key is just to be super thorough when you’re looking around.
- Purple Flowers: I counted 22 of these.
- Purple Starfish: And then there are 18 purple starfish.
So yeah, that’s the big secret! Go back to the Field Office, answer the survey with those numbers, and you’re good to go. It wasn’t some super complicated quest, just a good old-fashioned counting exercise. It makes a person feel silly to count, but there are no more ways.
