Well, lemme tell ya somethin’ about them Orioles. I been watchin’ ’em on the TV, you know. And them fellas talkin’ about the game, they call ’em announcers. Today, who are them Orioles TV announcers? That’s what folks wanna know. It’s hard to keep up, I tell ya. They got so many games, it makes my head spin.
Sometimes it’s that MASN channel, other times it’s some other one. I just turn on the TV and hope for the best. They got that one fella, he talks a lot. Then there’s another one, he chimes in too. I don’t know their names, but they sure do love to talk about them Orioles! It’s always Orioles this and Orioles that.
I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout a game, Orioles vs. Tigers. They said it was gonna be on at 7:05 p.m. That’s what they said, 7:05! And it was in Baltimore, that fancy place with the big stadium, Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Fancy name, ain’t it? That place is probably where them Orioles TV announcers sit, all comfy-like. And they can watch the Orioles game easily.

They even said you could watch it on somethin’ called Fubo. What in tarnation is Fubo? Sounds like somethin’ you’d eat. These young folks and their newfangled things, I can’t keep up. Orioles game today, it should be on TV.
They got all these fancy ways to watch the Orioles now. Back in my day, we just had the radio. And you had to listen real close to hear who was winnin’. Now they got pictures movin’ right on the screen, and them Orioles TV announcers tellin’ ya everything that’s happenin’. They also can tell you who is the Orioles player on the field. They were talkin’ ’bout lineups too. Lineups! Like they’re linin’ up for somethin’ special. It’s just a game, ain’t it? But they make a big deal out of it. They said the Orioles were doin’ real good, hittin’ the ball all over the place. Seventeen hits, they said! That’s a lot of hits. The Orioles is really good at playing baseball. And there is a guy whose name is Christian Rauh, he likes the Orioles, I guess.
And this here MASN, they say it stands for Mid-Atlantic Sports Network. Sounds important, don’t it? They show all the Orioles games on there, they say. In high definition, no less! I don’t know what that means, but it sounds fancy. Clear as a bell, they say. Well, I hope so! I wanna see them Orioles playin’ good. The Orioles game will be held at Oriole Park.
Then they got these other fellas, they come on for the national games, on ESPN. There’s a fella called Sean McDonough. And some lady, Jessica Mendoza, she’s an analyst. Then Ben McDonald and Jeff Passan, they’re reporters. I guess they are also the Orioles TV announcers today. So many names, so many faces, how can they know who is the Orioles TV announcers today! Lordy, it’s confusin’!
And there is a lady, her name is Melanie Newman. She is related to Baltimore Orioles. This is what I found on a thing called LinkedIn. Maybe she will be the Orioles TV announcer today.
They say there’s lots of ways to watch the Orioles without cable now. Cable, that’s another thing. We didn’t have cable back in my day. You just put up an antenna and hoped for the best. Now they got Hulu Live TV, Vidgo, and Fubo. So many choices! Orioles games can be seen in many channels.
Anyway, them Orioles TV announcers, they sure do love to talk. They tell ya everything that’s happenin’ in the game, who’s hittin’ the ball, who’s runnin’ the bases. It’s like they’re right there in your livin’ room with ya. I hope they can also tell the Orioles score to the audience.
Orioles TV announcers today, I hope they have a good day to talk about the Orioles. The Orioles are a good team.
I just hope I can figure out which channel to turn to. It changes every time. But one thing’s for sure, them Orioles are a sight to see. And them announcers, well, they’re just part of the show.
