Today, I am gonna talk about my little journey with WWE from August 20th to 22nd. You know, I’ve been meaning to give it a shot, and this weekend was just perfect.
So, I started by setting everything up on Saturday, the 20th. Got my PC ready, made sure the internet was solid, and downloaded the game. It took a while, but I passed the time by watching some old wrestling matches online. Nostalgia hit hard, man.
Once the game was ready, I jumped straight into creating my character. Spent a good chunk of time tweaking the looks, the moves, everything. Wanted to make sure my guy was unique, you know? Ended up with this badass-looking wrestler with a mix of high-flying and power moves.
Dived into the career mode after that. Started from the bottom, some local gym matches. The controls felt a bit clunky at first, but I got the hang of it after a few matches. Lost some, won some, but each match was a learning experience. By the end of Saturday, I was already hooked. Grinded a few hours and called it a night.
Sunday Funday
- Woke up Sunday morning and got right back into it.
- The matches started getting tougher.
- Faced some really skilled opponents. It was intense.
- I remember one particular match where I was getting my butt kicked, but I managed to pull off a comeback. Felt awesome.
Took a break in the afternoon, watched some real-life WWE to get some inspiration. Noticed a few moves I wanted to try in the game, so I spent some time in the training mode, practicing and perfecting those moves.
Sunday evening was all about climbing the ranks. Won a couple of championships, got involved in some cool storylines. The game really sucks you in. By the time I decided to call it a day, I was feeling pretty accomplished. But my eyes are also really dry and tired.
Wrapping Up
- Monday, the 22nd, I only had time for a few quick matches before work.
- Managed to squeeze in a title defense. Successful, thankfully.
- It was a nice way to wrap up my WWE weekend.
Overall, it was a blast. Rediscovered my love for wrestling, and the game was way more fun than I expected. It’s not just about button-mashing; there’s a lot of strategy involved. Plus, the storylines are pretty engaging. I will definitely play it again for the next weekend, or maybe this week!
If you’re a wrestling fan or just looking for a new game to try, I highly recommend giving WWE a shot. Just be prepared to lose track of time because it’s seriously addictive.
Alright, that’s it for my WWE adventure. Hope you enjoyed the read. Catch you guys in the next one!
