Okay, so I’ve been grinding Apex Legends like crazy lately, chasing that elusive Heirloom. I finally decided to buckle down and figure out this whole “Next Heirloom” predictor thing. Here’s how it went down, step by step:
First, I logged into my Apex account. You know, the usual username and password stuff. I’ve got two-factor authentication set up, so I grabbed my phone and typed in that code too. Gotta keep those precious skins safe!

Tracking My Packs
Next, I needed to figure out how many Apex Packs I’ve opened. This is the key, since you’re guaranteed an Heirloom after 500 packs. No easy way to do this in-game, sadly. So, I went hunting online for a solution.
I found one of those online Apex Pack calculators. I remember I bought that fancy edition so I input the 100 packs that edition has, and I started plugging in my Battle Pass levels from each season. Man, that was a pain. I had to go back through all my old screenshots and emails to get the exact numbers. Season 3… level 87, I think? Season 4… ugh, I can’t even remember, maybe 60-something? It was a real mess.
- Season 1: Level 40 (I was a noob, okay?)
- Season 2: Level 72
- Season 3: Level 87 (give or take)
- Season 4: Level 65 (rough estimate)
- …and on and on…
It goes on until season 20, and level 56 is my current level.
I also remembered I bought a bunch of packs during a couple of those Black Friday sales. I dug through my bank statements to find those transactions. Yep, there they are… 20 packs here, 15 packs there. I added those to the calculator too.
The Moment of Truth
After all that painful data entry, the calculator spat out a number. 387 packs. Ugh, I’m still over 100 packs away from that guaranteed Heirloom! That’s, like, a million years of playing, or a ton of money. Or a ton of money.

So, the “Next Heirloom” prediction? It’s not happening anytime soon. Looks like I’m stuck with my regular old weapons for a while longer. But hey, at least I know where I stand. Now I can decide if I want to keep grinding, or maybe just, you know, enjoy the game for a bit without obsessing over shiny virtual objects.
