Alright, so I’ve been messing around with this “new eridu city fund w engine” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a ride. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about, so I decided to dive in headfirst.
Getting Started
First things first, I needed to get my hands on this engine. That was a bit of digging since, well, the original sources are not easy to find. I went in to find something usefull.

I started by going through various versions and checking which one work and what tools I need.
The Process
- Checked the system requirements. Made sure my old machine could even handle it.
- Experimented with basic commands. Just to get a feel for how it all worked. Lots of trial and error here, folks. Lots.
- Tried to run something, and… crash. Okay, back to the drawing board.
- Figured out I needed a specific setup, tweaked some settings, and boom! It kinda worked!
Making it Work(Sort of)
It wasn’t pretty, but I managed to get it to do something. The graphics were glitchy, the performance was, shall we say, “suboptimal,” but hey, it was running! I spent a good few hours just tweaking settings, trying different models. It felt like I was back in the early days of PC, fiddling with config files just to get a game to launch.
I managed to get it to display something, but the colors are all messed up, and the performance isn’t great. But, I did it!
The End Result (For Now)
So, after all that, what did I achieve? Well, I got a basic understanding of how this engine works. It’s definitely not something you can just pick up and use, but with enough patience and a willingness to get your hands dirty, you can get it to do… well, something. Will I keep messing with it? Probably. Is it a practical tool for everyday use? Absolutely not. But it was a fun little adventure, and that’s what counts, right?
