Okay, so I wanted to find this Dreadwing thing, you know? I had heard about it and was kinda curious. So, I started my journey in the desert/lake area ’cause I read online that there’s a spawn location there. And guess what? It was right next to a fire pit where I could save my game. That was super convenient!
Trying to find it near Far Zenith
Then someone told me about another one by the beach near Far Zenith. I went there, but to be honest, it wasn’t as easy as the first one. The area was a bit confusing, and I spent a lot of time just wandering around. Maybe I went to the wrong place, I dunno.
Latopolis and Memorial Grove
After that, I did a bit more digging, and someone said the easiest spot to reach is just northeast of Latopolis, which is southwest of Plainsong. I thought, “Alright, let’s give it a shot!” I went there, and it was pretty straightforward. Found a standard Dreadwing just like they said.
There was also another location in the mountains, west of Memorial Grove. This one was supposed to have an Apex Dreadwing. More resources, you know? It was a bit of a hike, but I managed to find it. Worth it, I guess.
Tips for the Night Owls
Here’s a tip I picked up from someone online: they said to go to a shelter, advance time to night, and then fast travel to the campsite closest to either Latopolis or the mountains southeast of Cliff Watch. I tried it, and it worked like a charm! Nighttime seems to be the right time for these things to show up.
- Step 1: Go to the desert/lake area, near the fire pit.
- Step 2: If that doesn’t work, try northeast of Latopolis.
- Step 3: For an Apex Dreadwing, head to the mountains west of Memorial Grove.
- Step 4: Advance time to night at a shelter for better results.
So yeah, that’s my experience with hunting down these Dreadwing things. Hope this helps someone out there! It was a bit of an adventure, but pretty cool to see these creatures up close. If you are going, just be prepared and maybe bring some friends along. It is more fun that way. Also, be careful. These things aren’t easy to take down. Good luck! Oh, and don’t forget to save your game at those fire pits. You’ll thank me later. Trust me.
